Had a lunch here with a family group of 8 and we were all blown away by how good it was. Everything was perfect - the atmosphere, the service, the setting. Above all - the food. It was sublime. As was the house wine. This is Italy at its very best. I would take a bath in the salsa verde they make

We arrived in the middle of a gas festival and didn't make a reservation in advance, and the owner found a solution for us. The food was excellent, the meat dishes were excellent, the pasta was excellent, the wine recommendation was also good, and the service was personal and fast.

The place is charming. Located in a small square in Barga, it reflects the classic atmosphere of a tavern. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the food is delicious. We had a great time despite the busy evening, which was handled very well by the owner, who always tries to accommodate all guests' needs. Excellent!

Right in the center of Barga, the place wouldn't be bad. The food is very good, but the problem is the very limited and very touristy menu... by touristy, I mean that they have first courses like lasagna... pasta with ragù... pasta with pesto... being in the center of Barga, I expected something more typical of the area... but the quality of the food is very good, even the cold cuts are very good, and a delicious pear and chocolate dessert... let's say I wouldn't go back with this menu... but I can't say I had a bad experience either... the staff is also very friendly and helpful.

We left Liguria in search of tranquility and remembered this little village we hadn't had time to visit, so here we are, having lunch in this lovely place. The food was excellent, with generous portions and a very friendly atmosphere. We ordered a starter of cured meats with herbs and lamb ribs, both plentiful and tasty. Even the dog was made very welcome. 😊

Questa di oggi e' la nostra quarta volta qui all'Osteria di Barga..pranzo eccellente..taglieri assortiti con salumi e formaggio ottimi..cotolette d' agnello grigliate e patate al forno molto buone e apple pie swuisita..ed il gestore ed il personale simpaticissimi e disponibili..torneremo ancora
