We were looking for a trattoria where we could enjoy real Umbrian cuisine without many frills. And only by chance did we find it in the King's Inn. Everything was excellent. From the starters to the first courses (superb umbricelli) and the meat, everything was fantastic. How fantastic was the courtesy and helpfulness of the owner.

I liked it a lot. Kind and friendly.
A place that evidently has the hand of the manager. part tavern, part take-away focacceria, but also at the table. simple and tasty dishes. prices ok.

Chance discovery for a takeaway porchetta “sandwich” (best way I can describe it) - and it was fantastic. A fairly long queue waiting and the guy making all the sandwiches was flat out - but found time to chat while getting ours ready. There were clear signs at the door saying that takeaways were paid in cash only, whereas dine-in accepted cards - so no surprise there at all.

Excellent discovery. We entered by chance and were immediately struck by the welcome and the particularity of the location.
The starter platters were of excellent quality, as were the "Umbriachelli", a type of pasta available with different toppings; we, in particular, chose porcini mushrooms and wild boar ragù.
The second courses are also excellent; specifically we took the shank with potatoes. Meat cooked very well.
Finally, the "Servant's dessert" made us conclude this lunch in a truly satisfying way.
Recommended if you come to Orvieto (also because it is a minute's walk from the Duomo).
The advice is to come early (12.30/12.45), because it fills up quickly and it is worth trying their cuisine.

Couple of motorcyclists passing by. We booked last minute, the owner was phenomenal in finding a table for us at lunchtime on Sunday despite the place being full. Welcoming, family environment. We order a mixed starter, umbricelli with porcini mushrooms and house red wine. To close we follow the lady's advice to have a dessert made with ricotta, hazelnuts and chestnuts... an indescribable pleasure. Very friendly staff, even though it was our first time there we immediately felt at home! We'll be back!

Capitati per caso , siamo stati accolti in modo fantastico da Sara e coccolati con ottimo cibo, che nel nostro caso erano patate al forno deliziose e Umbrichelli (fatti a mano da Sara) all’amatriciana. La proprietaria ci ha traghettati poi con simpatia fino alla fine e al conto. Un’attenzione amorevole anche al nostro cane Luna. Esperienza eccellente.
