Wow! We had not expected the amazing city of Otranto. To be fair, arriving late onto Fabrizio’s mooring meant that we saw the city for the first time with lights! Beautiful. Didn’t want to be walking round fur ages so stopped at this restaurant. Great find! The waiters spoke great English. The menu had both Italian and English . Shared the starter of Casereccio - homemade antipasti!! YOU NEED TO TRY THIS!! Hubby had grilled swordfish and I had tuna tataki - shared grilled veg & rosemary potatoes. Recommended bottle of Talo 👍. Hubby had tiramisu. Well worth leaving 10 euro tip!!

Agriturismo Gli Ulivi

16/12/2024: Questo agriturismo è in località amena, non lontana dalla costa. La struttura è piccola ma molto bella. Si mangia molto bene. Noi abbiamo mangiato diversi antipasti tradizionali salentini, altri rivisitati, tutti molto accurati e gustosi, una zuppa e due assaggi di primi piatti (orecchiette alle rape e gnocchetti con polpettine) davvero ben realizzati. Infine delle crostate fragranti. Il personale è stato sempre attento e disponibile, nonostante il nostro fosse un gruppo numeroso e rumoroso. Unico punto di attenzione: i tavoli piuttosto piccoli e le sedie in paglia non comodissime ma quello dipende dallo spazio limitato della struttura. Ovviamente è opportuno prenotare!
12/07/2024: Agriturismo molto suggestivo e ben arredato, cenare all'aperto è una cosa meravigliosa. Il personale di sala è gentile. Abbiamo ordinato antipasti per 6 persone ma purtroppo non garantiscono una pietanza per persona, tipo le bruschette con varie farciture non c'erano per tutti. Bocciata le trie con i ceci molto sciapi, buone le carni ed ottimi i dolci.

13/02/2025: Excellent food: large variety of pinse, all delicious, which are the main product served. Digestible doughs and quality ingredients. The definition of "tavern" is rather misleading. Too bad about the service, which absolutely needs to be reviewed: from the entrance to the payment, rude staff who pay little attention to the customer's needs; at times the feeling is that of being an unwelcome guest. Price perhaps a little high, but it could be there if the service was adequate. Sin.
04/02/2025: The best Pinsa I've ever eaten. Its characteristic is the incredible lightness of the dough and the excellent quality of the raw materials. Never eaten such a light and well-made pinsa, really good!
