15/11/2025: One of those classic, elegant Bolognese cafés that feels both refined and comfortably familiar. Gran Bar in Bologna is a total jewel. A stylish, traditional Italian café with a slightly upscale atmosphere. It has that characteristic Bologna charm: bright, clean interiors, a long polished counter, and attentive baristas who move quickly even during the busiest hours. It’s the kind of place where you see a mix of professionals grabbing a quick espresso, locals enjoying a quiet cappuccino with a pastry, and people stopping by for an aperitivo. I would definitely recommend booking in advance in the evening. They have an amazing selection of wine and bubbles, and every once in a while organise events where one can enjoy these wonderful bottles in great company! Always a pleasure!
