We arrived late, under a scorching heat, when the kitchen was about to close... and yet they welcomed us with rare kindness and generosity. Simple and authentic atmosphere, just like the cuisine: genuine and sincere. A special thanks to Mrs. Angela and Luigi for their welcome. We will gladly return!

Mrs. Angela welcomed us after closing out of pure generosity, because she couldn't accept the idea of a child (my son) going hungry.
It's still low season, the services in the area haven't taken off and we really didn't have much chance of being able to eat something.
The lady and her husband welcomed us with a plate of "fusilli" (it's the specialty of the area: a kind of troccolo) with ragù.
Traditional dishes are even better eaten in the countryside.
And the house wine is amazing, strictly local.
Then we stayed to talk for a long time, about everything that threatens places, flavors, traditions and people like these.
In the end we paid an unexpectedly low price, which wasn't even enough to compensate for the chat.
