Overall, the place is pleasant, the service simple but without any obvious flaws, some dishes are more successful than others, but the thing that perplexes me is that the menu still seems the same even months later.

My first experience at the Locanda, and I have to say I had a truly delicious meal. The Locanda egg, Venetian-style liver, and freshly made rose cake... all excellent and of the highest quality.

The food wasn't bad, although nothing particularly impressed us.
What left us a little perplexed was the wait: 40 minutes for appetizers, and after an hour and ten minutes, we were still starting on the main courses.
I realize that the dining room staff isn't very numerous and that it's not easy to manage the service quickly, but this is definitely an area that could be improved.
No complaints, however, about the kindness of the staff and the bill, which was fair.
