We were recommended this restaurant by the owner of the hotel. The food, service and atmosphere were all great! Totally recommend.

Phenomenal restaurant. Wonderful service. Beautiful atmosphere. Some of the best food we had in Venice. We were able to walk in around 9 without a reservation and sat outside in the garden.

Beautiful old hotel and restaurant with charm in the quieter Dorsodouro district. Simple rooms, some without air conditioning. Bathroom in the hallway. Nice courtyard for eating. Breakfast for 7 euros is economical but OK.

I had dinner with an excellent plate of bigoi in sauce and a good lemon ice cream with vodka. I recommend booking. You can eat both inside and in the characteristic internal courtyard, under the pergola. Kindness and professionalism. A place loved by the locals too. Not cheap. A few steps from the Zattere.

We came for dinner and loved it. Service was fabulous and friendly. We thought the food was excellent. Lovely house wine. Highly recommend.

A very out of the way restaurant. A small front door leads into a massive back garden area. The personnel are super attentive and friendly. We had starters, prima piatti, secondo piatti and dolci. All were made to perfection like a Michelin restaurant. Would highly recommend this for a respite from the busy tourist area.

Bellissimo giardino dove poter mangiare. Servizio celere, personale gentile ma molto poco attento, l’unica signora presente al nostro tavolo non è mai stata servita per prima 😅😅😅, che tristezza questa poco conoscenza del galateo. Porzione minime, carta dei vini con pochissime etichette e con prezzi troppi alti rispetto alla qualità offerta. Peccato, si potrebbe fare di più ma si vede che a loro va bene così, anche questa è Venezia

We’ve been dining here for decades and will continue to dine here anytime we’re in Venice. The food, ambiance, wait staff are all superb, and the restaurant is far away from the intense tourist traffic of St. Mark’s Square.

14/08/2024: A wonderful hotel that hosts unique and evocative events thanks to the uniqueness of the place
10/08/2024: It's old school in both good and bad ways. Good: The decorations are marvelous (see pics). Bad: - Only one standard EU power outlets if you don't unplug lamps. Three if you unplug lamps. The rests are all old Italian style with smaller holes. And all the power outlets are so close to the floor that we have to put devices on the ground. - The shower head is so old that the water goes in many different directions. - Wifi is too weak to be connected - Poor soundproof. Our room faces the grand canal and we can hear sounds from the ferry, people yelling, etc. Everything else is good. Nice room, great view, convenient location. Service is good too. Except I expect someone to collect our luggage at the front door for a 5-star hotel but it didn't happen. Maybe it's just an Italian tradition so I won't complain about it.
