Locanda Milano 1873 In Brunate

We had such a lovely dinner here and it was the best way to end our trip! Raouf, the owner, had a wonderful disposition and welcomed us with open arms. The vibe was cozy and restaurant was clean and inviting. The food was excellent (we ordered branzino and pasta - 100% the best branzino we've ever had and the pasta was fantastic as well)! They also make a really excellent Limoncello in-house that we highly recommend trying! Raouf's service was above and beyond: There was someone servicing the building outside and we noticed Raouf kindly conversing with him and gifting him wine after the worker completed the job for the day. We ended up discovering Raouf's Restaurant and Hotel the last night of our vacation, but we will absolutely be returning to stay here at his hotel and dine at the restaurant the next time we visit the Como, Italy area again!

Great location, next to funicular Como. Amazing service with great staff, food was quite good, try the desserts after - it was perfect with an espresso and a toscanello cigar!

Recommended! The room is clean and there is a parking space. After breakfast time, the owner is very hospitable and even left breakfast for us.

We didn't stay overnight, just ate, but the food was delicious, of course, and the owner was so friendly that he helped us with everything we needed, like Wi-Fi and phone charging, while we were eating. Grazie!

We went to the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised to find that its halal. The owner Rauf is very courteous and hospitable and we highly recommend visiting the place.

We stayed near by and went for tea. The food was the best meal we had while staying in Italy (the seafood pasta was amazing!). The mozzarella and Parma Ham starter was also the best starter we had in our 5 days in Italy! For that reason we will probably stay in the hotel if we come back to Como but will certainly be revisiting the restaurant! The service we received was exceptional and incredibly helpful when ordering.

Pasamos un fin de semana aquí y nos encantó. nos llevamos nuestro Mali belga con nosotros, que fue un desacuerdo ya que nuestro perro es parte de la familia. El propietario era muy amable en el teléfono cuando llamé y cuando llegamos allí me ayudó a aparcar mi coche. También me recibió fuera del hotel y envió una camarera para ayudarnos a llevar equipaje a nuestras habitaciones. El hotel me recordó a mi infancia un poco atrás en los años 90 que tuvo un efecto positivo en mí. La habitación era sencilla pero muy limpia. La cena fue genial, todos estábamos muy satisfechos. Las cosas eran amables y acogedoras. En nuestra primera noche apenas dormí lo suficiente debido a un niño gritando al otro lado de nuestra habitación, que por supuesto no es culpa del propietario, sin embargo, se lo mencioné por la mañana y me ofreció otra habitación para mi conveniencia. Terminamos teniendo dos habitaciones, aunque pagué solo por una, la otra fue un regalo como él dijo. Me conmovió mucho su amabilidad y lo considerado que era. El propietario de este hotel incluyendo las cosas hizo todo lo posible donde podemos sentirnos bien atendidos. He estado viajando con mis hijos relativamente a menudo, pero la hospitalidad de este hombre debe ser reconocida en todo el mundo.
