Beautiful renovated inn in the Modena hills. Delicious porcini lunch. I highly recommend the fried porcini mushrooms and the mushroom-based ricotta tortelloni. Very kind waiters, they even let us have coffee in the outside garden. €50 each. The tortelloni were so good that I had already eaten one before taking the photo! The only note regarding my experience (tasting menu) is that I would have appreciated slightly larger portions, particularly on the steak. For the rest really recommended!

Story of a forgotten table. Here is my experience in summary. Family lunch: we choose the tasting menu while the only child orders tortellini in broth asking for it to be brought along with the starters. After a wait of about 1 hour the appetizers arrive but the tortellini do not. They arrive together with the other first courses. The excellent tortelloni, the second courses quite anonymous, without salt and barely warm. The dessert, a semifreddo, is still frozen. Biblical times. An annoyed couple leaves after having only the first. Overall we were served in about two and a half hours. Our table is.... The forgotten table. I don't think I will return. I am sorry. The place is nice but not worth the trip. The service was too distracted.

On Fridays it is possible to taste an entirely vegan menu!

Stunning location. Excellent dishes. Fabulous local wines, a pleasant surprise. The bill won't block your digestion. Upstairs two pairs of skis (wooden planks) that the sommelier waxed with candles. A beautiful story.

Pranzo con Menù Degustazione ai Funghi Porcini con scelta tra due antipasti ( crostini ai porcini o porcini fritti), primo piatto con tortelloni di ricotta con funghi misti e pancetta croccante, secondo con scelta tra tagliata di manzo con funghi misti e polenta con caciotta, salsa di noci e funghi misti, dolci con scelta tra yogurt con frutti di bosco, semifreddo al mascarpone con cioccolato fondente, torta tenerina con panna montata. Le porzioni non abbondanti in quanto “menu degustazione”, ma c’è la possibilità di scegliere anche il Menù alla carta o Menù degustazione Tartufo Nero Estivo. Tutta la qualità del cibo buona.
