Location ristrutturata rispetto a qualche anno fa, molto accogliente. Menù frutto di un grande studio con ottime materie prime. Preparazioni perfettamente bilanciate. Servizio ottimo. Carta dei vini eccellente. Costo anche onesto considerando la stella. Consigliatissimo.

I spent one of the most memorable gastronomic and human experiences of my life at Locanda Mammì. Together with my wife, we chose to celebrate Easter here, also staying for the night, immersed in an atmosphere that blends family warmth, top cuisine and artisanal attention to every detail. Saturday evening dinner was a true symphony: a succession of amuse-bouches as elegant as they were surprising, served with a creativity that never lapses into excess. Small morsels presented as works of art that have guided us towards increasingly intense, balanced and technically impeccable dishes. Among these, it is impossible not to mention the transhumance risotto dotted with herbs and rosehip powder, the deer meat cooked to perfection and the final small pastry served on a cake stand worthy of a royal tea. And if the dinner was a dream, the Easter lunch was a hymn to tradition reinterpreted with creativity: cream of peas as green as spring, fragrant tortelli, a risotto decorated with daisies, and an anthology-worthy lamb. To conclude, a dessert that looked like an egg, placed on a crunchy nest: spectacular, but above all exciting to break and taste. The service was always present but never intrusive, and the place conveys that rare combination of intimacy and refinement that makes you feel pampered, respected and at home. An experience that I recommend to anyone who wants to give themselves a special memory, a journey through land, tradition and beauty.

I spent a pleasant stay at Locanda Mammí over Easter, and I can only share my gratitude for the warm welcome and the extraordinary quality of the experience I had. The dinner on Christmas Eve was a journey through authentic flavors and surprising combinations, each course told a story and you could feel the attention to every detail. I appreciated the "Expressions" menu freely proposed by the chef, especially for the deer. After a quiet and comfortable night in the room where I stayed, the following morning began with a simple but delicious breakfast: homemade desserts, genuine jams and yogurt, fragrant bread and a very fragrant coffee, all served with the same attention and care that characterizes every aspect of the inn. The Easter lunch was the real highlight. Special praise goes to the chef, who was able to move me with the “Easter Egg” dish: a poetic, refined dish, capable of evoking memories and at the same time surprising with a perfect balance of taste and creativity. At Locanda Mammí you can breathe passion, competence and love for cuisine and hospitality. I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone who wants to live an authentic Molise experience.

We have been to this wonderful restaurant and we were extremely impressed. Suggestive location and wonderfully furnished. Chef Di Pasquo is extraordinarily good. We are sure that the maestro Niko Romito is proud of her and of the results she is obtaining. The dishes were all truly excellent... The table service was also good. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

My review is exclusively about the dinner I had with my partner and our dog. The fact that they are pet-friendly and starred is already great news. The dinner was delicious, the service attentive and kind, the only flaw was several fingerprints on the various dishes that shouldn't be there, especially if they are in the guide. The absolutely exceptional dishes were the tortelli with almonds in broth, the risotto della transumanza and the tongue; the trout was really good, with a cream that I can't remember now, delicious. The cut of the guinea fowl was not optimal but still enjoyable, I personally didn't appreciate the dessert, in any case we will return. Highly recommended.

Cucina particolare ed ottima così come l’ambiente! Ingredienti , cortesia e gentilezza genuini e non usuali. Insomma un cibo ed un posto che si fanno ricordare. Bravi!

I had the pleasure of seeing this structure grow over time and was lucky enough to return in December 2024 and live an experience worthy of the star! Congratulations to the guys who carry out this flagship of the Pentra province with wisdom and mastery. Well done!

Delicious New Year's Eve at Locanda Mammì! We were three couples and spent two nights in welcoming and well-kept rooms. The New Year's Eve dinner was a sublime culinary experience: a triumph of flavors of traditional dishes revisited with skill, using zero km products. The elegant yet welcoming atmosphere made us feel at home. Special thanks to the staff for their kindness and helpfulness. Highly recommended

25/04/2025: Friendly environment. The specialization of the house is fish, very fresh and cooked in an excellent manner, without the fear of expertly combining different flavours, with truly remarkable results. Definitely worth trying and coming back. Honest account.
13/03/2025: “Sorsi e Morsi” is located in a convenient and easily accessible position in Isernia, with the convenience of parking in the immediate vicinity, which is always an appreciable aspect. The restaurant is divided into two distinct areas: the first space, conceived as a shop, is studied in detail and offers an interesting and original touch. The second entrance leads to the actual restaurant, a well-furnished environment, with attention to detail and a welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, our experience was slightly influenced by the location of the table, located in the immediate vicinity of the front door. Every opening of the door generated an annoying draft, creating evident discomfort which affected overall comfort. The meal began with an appreciated welcome entrée: An artisanal sandwich with buffalo mozzarella and prawn, delicate and well-balanced in flavours. The appetizers, specifically the tempura cod and the seafood "salad", proved to be well executed, with fresh ingredients and defined flavors that met expectations. The first courses maintained a good level of quality: the pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, with seasonings with strong flavours, perhaps slightly accentuated in terms of salt, but overall to our liking. A special mention goes to the scialatielli, which stood out for its taste and consistency. As for dessert, we tasted the salted caramel log with caramelized hazelnuts: a pleasant and good quality dessert, albeit slightly below expectations in terms of flavor intensity. The service was overall precise and quick, perhaps even too quick in some phases, but we can understand the speed considering our visit was close to closing time. Finally, the bill was in line with expectations, without surprises and consistent with the quality offered. Ultimately, “Sorsi e Morsi” represents a valid option for those looking for refined and high-quality cuisine in Isernia. Despite some small inconveniences, the overall experience was positive and I would recommend it.

16/03/2025: Immersed in the greenery of the Abruzzo, Molise and Lazio national park, in the province of Isernia, the beautiful farmhouse welcomes its guests with affability and great availability. We stayed two nights in a double room, basic but nice. The do-it-yourself breakfast is rich and complete. We had dinner for two evenings tasting Chef Stefano's delights. Refined and tasty dishes created with attention to tradition and local products. The young staff is also very kind and knowledgeable, so much so that we wanted to leave a dedicated tip for them in addition to paying our share.
16/03/2025: Premetto di aver anche soggiornato con mia moglie per due notti, in una stanza semplice, calda e pulita ed è stato molto comodo dopo le cene. Se potessi dare sei stelle alla ristorazione le darei sicuramente. Ho cenato per due volte consecutive ed in entrambi i casi siamo stati ben serviti ed informati sui piatti, tutti - nessuno escluso - eccellenti. Prezzo in entrambi i casi corretto. Il locale è quello classico di un Hotel Ristorante, mentre il titolare è uno chef molto attento la cui cucina è segnalata dalle guide e - devo dire - a ragione. La prima sera mia moglie prende - dopo il pre antipasto offerto dalla casa - una minestra di ceci e io un antipasto di salumi di cervo, oca e cinghiale. Poi prendiamo un filetto di manzo premiato di recente in qualche trasmissione televisiva, veramente tenerissimo ed eccellente. A parte, una insalata con funghi porcini, parmigiano e rucola con sopra una specie di peschino, una piccola pesca, dal sapore spettacolare che prepara una signora soltanto in zona e non è commercializzata. Da bere un rose’ Tintilia di 15 gradi. Si finisce con una torta di ricotta e pere e io con un profitterol buonissimo, con una genziana quale amaro. La seconda sera non è da meno: fiocchetti di bresaola ripieni di caprino, tagliata ai funghi e tartufo, bruschetta di farro con lardo e frutti di bosco e via dicendo… Tintilia del Molise rosso per l’accompagno… Insomma, non è certo il primo ristorante in cui vado, ma sicuramente è uno dei migliori in cui sia stato.
