There are not many restaurants as lovely as this one in Ragusa Ibla. Expertly crafted dishes paired exquisitely with wines by Carmelo, the somm. The tasting menu is definitely the journey you must take. Simply a wonderful evening with attentive, knowledgeable service at a relaxed pace. Sublime.

There were a couple of larger groups dining at the same time as us (party of two), and service felt much more attentive to those tables — we had some long lulls waiting for attention. The food itself was just okay; the pastas were served lukewarm, which was a bit odd. I did enjoy the potato knish amuse-bouche (and appreciated that they offered me a second one). The atmosphere was a bit less relaxing than expected, as a young child nearby was screaming for much of the meal.
Fantastic...everything was truly fantastic.

The food was incredible with textures, flavors, and style that I'll be thinking about for a long time.
The true highlight was our server Daniel and our sommelier Carmello. They went out of their way to make sure the we had a wonderful evening, giving us local recommendations and taking us on a private tour of the cellar. The service can make all of the difference in a fine dining setting, and we had a truly a phenomenal experience because of them.

This was a beautiful location in the side of the mountain with delicious food. We did one of the tasting menus with a couple of us doing the wine pairing and it was all delicious. It was pricy for sure, but well worth it for the experience.

A restaurant off the main streets with plenty of parking (some free) nearby. The space is carved out of a natural stone wall. Excellent hospitality and service. Dishes reflect diverse traditions, such as Sicilian (see the excellent horse meat dish) or Piedmontese (see tongue and green sauce). Both dishes are delicious. A refined and valuable wine list is lacking in many restaurants of this caliber. Honorable mention: the buttered breadsticks.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at **La Locanda Don Serafino** and had a thoroughly wonderful evening. The ambiance is extraordinary – the rooms, carved from stone and reminiscent of cellar vaults, create a unique, elegant, yet friendly atmosphere.
The menu was outstanding: creative, perfectly balanced dishes of the highest quality, accompanied by very good, unobtrusive service. We were also particularly pleased to be able to meet the head chef, Vincenzo Candiano, in person at the end of the evening and exchange a few words with him – a lovely way to end the evening.
We would, however, like to mention two small things: Although we had stated our wedding anniversary when making our reservation, this was not taken into account at all – other establishments often offer a small extra surprise. Furthermore, our bottle of wine was charged at a higher price than indicated on the menu – but this was immediately and kindly corrected after we pointed this out.
The most important thing for us was the exceptional quality of the food and the pleasant, professional service. A culinary experience that we are happy to recommend, despite minor details!

Durante un reciente viaje a Sicilia y las Islas Eolias, cenamos en cuatro restaurantes con estrellas Michelin y Don Serafina en Ragusa fue, con diferencia, el más destacado. Excelente comida, servicio y un entorno precioso. No pudimos encontrarle ninguna pega y el personal estuvo atento sin ser demasiado. Una experiencia verdaderamente memorable y en nuestra opinión ¡Don Serafina merece tener dos estrellas Michelin!
