Small and charming bar/restaurant in the historic center of Castelmuzio!

A hidden gem in a beautiful Tuscan village. Simple ingredients, fantastic flavours, quick service. This is our fifth restaurant meal in Tuscany and the best so far. Also the best service and least expensive.

Super nice place, where the hotel fits perfectly, rooms are small but very well maintained, with modern, loving furnishings. Food is very tasty, we will be back.

I admit, when I travel around Tuscany I am captivated by the word "inn", especially when placed in the context of a small village like Castelmuzio. Leaving the car in the car park under the village we reached the inn which stands on the main square, the historic building is of a shocking architectural beauty, it doesn't matter if you don't find a TV in the room or if the bathroom is small, sleeping there is a privilege. Add to that the restaurant is amazing, we devoured the 1.6kg Regina Fiorentina which melted in your mouth, I still dream about it some nights. The amazing service, very nice and capable guys in the typical Tuscan tradition. Time travel.

More than the inn, I think the whole village is very beautiful to visit, with the narrow streets that branch out like a labyrinth between the houses. Many panoramic points and welcoming benches for a moment of relaxation. Although certainly not by road, it is worth going even on the road that passes between hills and cultivated fields. It is not a place for mass tourism and perhaps there is not a series of shops selling souvenirs, but you can breathe an air of times gone by. Advised

How do they do it?! This little place in a tiny village managed to be one of my groups absolute favorite dinners during our week in Tuscany. The setting in Castelmuzio on the piazza is charming, quintessential small town Italy. The servers are great. And the food is excellent quality. We highly recommend their ragu bianco and tender handmade pastas. The pork roast was fantastic, along with the crispy roasted potatoes… all perfectly seasoned. Their homemade desserts are also fabulous. Nothing’s fancy, but it all manages to taste delicious. The house wines are enjoyable (the white was surprising) and a good value. A fun quirk of this location is when the church bells begin to ring at 8 pm… there are three dueling campanile and the ringing goes on and on and on until everyone begins to laugh. A wonderful spot, worth a drive even if you’re staying a few towns over. (Be sure and arrive 30+ minutes early so you can stroll through the tiny village before dinner, and enjoy the views toward Pienza and Santa Anna from up Borgo Salotto.

Very friendly and tasty restaurant. Local products, great and very helpful service. We came back after a year and again we were not disappointed :)

Top food is excellent, excellent quality and good cuisine, the managers are truly wonderful people
