Last night we were in this nice restaurant, where we had booked in the morning. The staff was very kind, they changed the room to the terrace because they noticed that we had booked that room. The food was excellent and the service was fast, so nothing to complain about, in fact everything was excellent.

Just today we were guests of the Locanda della Pieve. The place is pleasant and welcoming. By booking without much advance notice we were lucky enough to be placed at a table on the veranda. From the traditional menu we tasted fried polenta with lard: very good. From the "off menu" we chose tortelli di Rusino (with Rusino potatoes and herbs) and ravioli with lamb stew with citrus fruits. Both perfect: we had no idea which was the best, both amazing. For the second courses, again from the off menu, we chose a beef tartare with savory zabaglione with grilled cardoncelli mushrooms and parmesan chips: fantastic. A truly pleasant combination and with the right proportions of the foods to be able to taste all 4 components of this course at the same time. Paired with a Lambrusco from the Emilian cellars. An environment suitable both in the winter period and on early summer days like today. An address to highly recommend.
