07/02/2025: I had a great experience at Osteria Francescana. Service is leisurely, maybe even slow, but attentive and it really helps you appreciate every mouthful. They offer a set tasting menu which we had and also an a la carte option with different dishes if you really want to pick and choose. My only disappointment was some of the chefs more famous dishes were only available a la carte and I would have liked at least 1 or 2 to be included in the set menu.

04/02/2025: It's not the first starred restaurant I've been to, the note that has always distinguished everyone is that I retain a pleasant memory of a particular dish in each one. In the case of Bottura I tried the tasting menu, none of the dishes pleasantly impressed me or left a particular culinary memory in me. Perhaps the expectation being Bottura was too high, I assign the three stars more for the name of Bottura than for the culinary experience. I give the service five stars exclusively for the commitment made by the waiters, even if with a very scholastic calibration with an absence of personalism, which you also expect from a three Michelin star. Even the bill does not reflect the culinary journey, furthermore it would have been a note of attention to the customer not to charge for water. Finally, out of simple curiosity I wanted to see the type of table under the tablecloths, the disappointment was to find a classic table with laminar plywood, you don't expect that from a three star hotel. It's definitely not an experience I would want to try again.
