We had a wonderful evening celebrating a birthday here! Everything was perfect: the staff was so friendly and welcoming, making the evening truly special!!! The food was absolutely delicious, and you could feel the attention to every detail. We couldn't imagine a better way to celebrate...we left with full hearts (and stomachs!)

A very cool place, elegant and all the dishes are prepared with great care. The staff is wonderful. The desserts are divine.

The restaurant is wonderful; the handmade tables are a sight to behold, and the setting is very relaxing and pleasant! The staff was excellent: friendly, fast, and professional, with truly top-notch service and attentive customer service! The dishes I tried were truly delicious; the beef tartare was killer! Highly recommended!

Everything was beautiful and delicious. The round table seated 15 people, which alone deserves applause. To further the applause, there was an appetizer featuring a skillfully cooked and presented egg and a handmade tagliolini with a fish ragout, which was an A+. I recommend it.

Just steps from the main square in Montefalco, this truly excellent restaurant is located. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. This is definitely the restaurant's highlight. Very good food. Excellent wine list with many local labels. Prices are moderately high, but in line with the location.

Outstanding experience from the moment that Paulo greeted us with a sincere welcome and took us to our table. The service on the occasions I have been to Locanda has always been excellent., which speaks of their consistency as well as the care they have for their clientele. The menu choices are terrific and the food sublime. Paulo is also an excellent sommelier so the wine pairings are utterly amazing. This is a restaurant that must not be missed by even the most discerning of diners and I speak as one who has eaten in some of the finest restaurants in both Italy and around the globe.

A special place for special occasions. I went last night for dinner with my family. The off-menu tartares were delicious and seasoned with skill and personality (the chives were an original and tasty touch). The Bavarian cream with amaretto cream was exceptional. The service was perfect. The sommelier advised us with expertise, courtesy, friendliness, and honesty, and at the end of the dinner, he took us to the restaurant's wine cellar: an incredible sight. The prices are fair considering the exceptional setting. For four of us, for two dishes each (two of which were strangozzi with truffles—what truffles!), an excellent bottle of Rosso di Montefalco, three desserts, and the entrée (included in the cover charge) we spent €234. The place is beautiful both inside and out, where it truly feels like being in a theater.

My wife and I went to Montefalco for a romantic getaway. We had lunch at the inn and were speechless, so speechless that we had to go back for dinner. The quality of the food was impressive, the organization top-notch, and the staff and owner were exquisite and extremely kind. They showed us the cellars, which were beautiful and well-stocked. We tasted a 1983 Brunello di Montalcino, you can imagine. We'll definitely be back.

Cena ottima, piatti ricercati ma ben equilibrati, e con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Servizio impeccabile, sebbene il locale fosse al completo, Paolo e il suo staff sono stati in gradi di farci sentire speciali e ben accolti, rendendo la nostra permanenza ancora più indimenticabile. Lo consiglio vivamente a chi è amante del buon cibo e delle buone maniere!
