It feels like we spent an evening with the family. Welcoming place and excellent food, plus a lovely experience spent together with the mascot Betty which makes everything unique and special!!

Excellent inn in the heart of Chianti. Fixed menu at 45 euros + drinks with starter, lasagne, suckling pig, side dishes and dessert. The truffle is not very fragrant but for the price paid and the various courses it can be accommodated. The friendly and kind owner offered us cantucci with vinsanto and grappa. Wine and oil of its own production. The presence of the owl at the end of the meal is nice.

Clearly a family-run restaurant with a very fair price/performance ratio with a fixed menu including wine for €45/person, so I can't understand why people complain about slow service and prices. In any restaurant with a fixed menu like Fine Dining, everyone gets their courses at the same time, no matter when they come. If you travel specially, like by bike, you should just call instead of giving 1 star for incorrect opening times because there are also full restaurants. The meat could have been eaten with a spoon and the truffles went really well with all the dishes. The family is very nice and accommodating. Even if English is a problem, there are smartphones for that.

The truffle menu was fantastic! Very warm hosts! I would come back here at any time!

A revelation, especially for truffle lovers (and owls 🦅). Very nice host, relaxed atmosphere in a small pub (a few tables). Sensational dishes, all with truffles: from antipasti, including, among others, "wrapped pancake" with paste and tfuffle sauce, through delicious lasagna, to pork with truffles. Tiramisu without truffles 😉.

An exceptional experience, very welcoming chefs and fine cuisine. How good!

Although this is a somewhat charming restaurant, we came away feeling a little underwhelmed by the set menu. You cannot choose what you want, you must have the 4 course set menu and it will cost you €40 a head. The menu is truffle based, it consists of a small antipasti, a small delicious truffle lasagna, roast pork and potatoes and a small tiramisu. Although plenty, it would be nice to have a few “other” options. We had the house red, which was very passable at €10 per bottle, very reasonable and we got to meet Betty the owl, all good. I would say the restaurant lacks a little atmosphere though and we had a rather unusual waiter. It made for a slightly strange but enjoyable experience all round.
