A very special place! We were staying at the Le Fontanelle hotel and chose not to have dinner at the hotel to experience this, and it was worth it! It's a unique, family-friendly place where simplicity makes you feel at home. The menu starts at €45.00 per person, including starter, first course, main course, and dessert. There's no cover charge. The food was delicious and very generous. I found the dessert a bit bland, but it didn't take away from the dinner. The house red wine, actually made by them, was delicious! The best house wine of the entire trip to Italy. To top it all off, Bety, the owl, makes the atmosphere and experience even more incredible. It's a worthwhile experience for anyone in the area! The total bill, including 500ml house wines, came to €100.00.

Absolutely loved our meal here. A truly authentic experience. Set menu, which was fantastic. The food and wine were exceptional as was the service. If you are looking for the real deal Tuscan feast then this is it. They also have an 🦉 who pops around to say hello.

It's simply an experience you shouldn't miss. Make a reservation and enjoy a fantastic menu. Each dish is served with truffles in different ways. A very authentic, family-friendly Tuscan restaurant.

If you like truffles, you'll love this restaurant! A beautiful, family-run restaurant with a set menu, which truly impressed us. From the appetizer to the (homemade) dessert, everything was delicious and fresh. The wines offered were from nearby wineries. At the end, the owner and chef himself came out of the kitchen with his eagle owl and were introduced. All in all, a wonderful evening with incredibly good food and a pleasant atmosphere. A must-visit if you're in the area!

If you like truffles and not only that, come to the truffle hunter's shop for home cooking, a wonderful welcome and excellent prices.

Wow! What a massive surprise this place was for our group. Absolutely superb food and service. Their house wines are great, but they have many fantastic options. The lasagna was the best dish of our entire two week visit to Italy. Go here! You will not regret it.

We had a wonderful evening under the stars in the garden at Locanda del Tartufaio. A warm welcome to their restaurant and pleasantly surprised to see families and couples alike. The menu was great, 4 courses, all with truffle of course. We had an iSodi Chianti Classico Reserva 2020 from the surrounds of Monti. Everything we are was delicious! Good portions, not too big or too small. The bread was fantastic, light and crisp and soft all at once. Antipasti, lasagne, pork with potatoes and a chocolate brownie with a panna cottage for dessert. Lashings of truffle! We got to meet Betty at the end of our meal but I must say we just enjoyed watching her on her perch throughout the evening. We felt very much like we were in someone's home and welcomed as friends. Highly recommend, can book via whatsapp if you're not confident phoning and one of the hosts speaks very good English if you're Italian is not great.
