The two of us stopped by spontaneously and were warmly welcomed and served. Despite the language barrier, all wishes were fulfilled. A particular plus point was that the special nutritional needs of a pregnant woman were taken into account without having to specifically point them out. Overall the atmosphere was very down to earth and honest. We felt very comfortable throughout. The food was simply fantastic - highly recommended!!!!

What an experience! A very friendly and homely environment, you dined at your own table but with the feeling of being at dinner with friends; locals mainly, extremely welcoming and warm. Complete truffle-based dinner at a more than excellent price. I also recommend the house wine. We were immediately put at ease. What can I say then, seeing such an affectionate eagle owl is truly unexpected and unique.

I went to the truffle inn with my wife and daughter. Excellent trattoria with truffle-based dishes. Attentive, kind and professional staff. Highly recommended!

It's not just a dinner, but an experience. Family-run place with friendly and kind people. At the end of the evening the owner showed up with his owl 😂 All the foods are truffle based and are delicious. Modest prices

It feels like we spent an evening with the family. Welcoming place and excellent food, plus a lovely experience spent together with the mascot Betty which makes everything unique and special!!

Excellent inn in the heart of Chianti. Fixed menu at 45 euros + drinks with starter, lasagne, suckling pig, side dishes and dessert. The truffle is not very fragrant but for the price paid and the various courses it can be accommodated. The friendly and kind owner offered us cantucci with vin santo and grappa. Wine and oil of its own production. The presence of the owl at the end of the meal is nice.

07/06/2025: Excellent food. The price includes a starter and pasta dish, a bottle of 2020 Nobile di Montepulciano wine, dessert, coffee, and limoncello. The service was very warm. Highly recommended!!!
07/06/2025: Arrived in Montepulciano after exhausting trip from Rome with cancelled train etc…walked in to this Trattoria and were welcomed with excellent service, a lovely table outside and delicious food. A lovely start to our holiday. Chef’s special ravioli to die for!!
