Siamo stati a cena io e mia moglie in questa bellissima locanda,l'accoglienza ed il servizio sono stati eccellenti,il titolare e le sue ragazze preparati e simpatici,il cibo è stato squisito dall'antipasto al dolce,il panorama sulle colline al tramonto meraviglioso. Il rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente.Lo consiglio vivamente.

We're giving it five stars only because it's impossible to give more. You'll have the opportunity to enjoy a truly comprehensive Tuscan food and wine experience. Excellent platter with mixed Tuscan antipasti, homemade tortelli and tagliatelle with delicious ragù, just like grandma used to make. Main courses are traditional but not predictable (Chianti tuna and stewed snails, to be mopped up with all your might). Excellent crème brûlée. A bottle of red wine was recommended by the host. The price was more than fair considering how much we ate and drank. We'll definitely be back!

I can only give 5, La Locanda del Gallo has been my favorite restaurant for years, beautiful typically Tuscan atmosphere with a spectacular view of the valley, very kind staff, excellent food!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at this restaurant, booking a table in the small panoramic garden after reading the reviews. We found ourselves surrounded by greenery, with a splendid view, a family-friendly atmosphere, professional and courteous. The service was prompt, and the dishes were unforgettable, with authentic Tuscan flavors, something for everyone. The prices were very fair, hard to beat, I dare say. A place that immediately won our hearts!

A restaurant with a magnificent view of the Tuscan hills. The atmosphere is rustic yet refined, and the staff is extremely friendly. We were welcomed and served with warmth and attention. The food is sublime: we started with the Tuscan antipasto with excellent cured meats, crostini, and a delicious pappa al pomodoro. The tortelli stuffed with potatoes and pecorino cheese are excellent! We tried them with Tuscan ragù, while the tagliatelle with onion and sausage were delicious. The main courses are also worth trying, of course; the peposo alla fornacina was excellent. The prices are truly fair for the quality.
We had a wonderful time and found a place we'll definitely be talking about for a long time!

I have been to this restaurant many times over the past years. The menu is small, but the food is traditional and from my point of view perfectly prepared. The locally sourced wine and olive oil are excellent, and so are all the other ingredients used. The service is very good and you are treated respectfully and politely. The owner is authentic and takes pride in his work.
The beautiful view from the terrace adds to the great atmosphere and rustic charm of the restaurant.
The prices and portions are fully adequate. It would be difficult to get quality like this outside of Italy for these prices, and I have also paid more for less in Italian restaurants.
I hope this restaurant remains for many years to come.
