On our motorhome trips, we visit this restaurant whenever possible and are always delighted. Our favorite is the "Menu al tartufo," which in autumn features plenty of shaved summer truffles, while now it's served with a smaller amount of expensive, shaved winter truffles. The price for the three courses has remained constant at €25 for years 👍👍 Thank you for the friendly service.

In one of the most beautiful alleys in Gubbio's historic center, this delightful inn is located. I had lunch there with my family, originally from Gubbio. Excellent traditional cuisine with a touch of innovation, but without distorting the typical flavors of Gubbio.
The ingredients used are top-quality, and the portions are generous.
The service is attentive, courteous, and always ready to accommodate guests' requests.
I will definitely return as soon as I have the opportunity.

The menu is a tribute to the local area. From pasta dishes with fresh truffle (a staple here) to local cured meats, every ingredient tells a story. If there's one reason worth leaving a little "corner" in your stomach, it's undoubtedly their cheesecake. Forget the industrial or overly gelatinous versions you find elsewhere:
The Texture: Incredibly creamy, almost velvety, melts in your mouth.
The Balance: Never overly sweet, allowing the flavor of the fresh cheese to delicately emerge.

Driven by curiosity, after watching the episode of "4 Restaurants in Gubbio," we booked lunch at Locanda del Duca. The experience was impeccable, to say the least. The service was friendly and attentive. We decided on a platter of cured meats and cheeses, a pappardella with mushrooms and guanciale, and to finish, a fantastic pork belly. The sweet conclusion was a bitter liqueur with hints of cinnamon! Truly delicious!
