Driven by curiosity, after watching the episode of "4 Restaurants in Gubbio," we booked lunch at Locanda del Duca. The experience was impeccable, to say the least. The service was friendly and attentive. We decided on a platter of cured meats and cheeses, a pappardella with mushrooms and guanciale, and to finish, a fantastic pork belly. The sweet conclusion was a bitter liqueur with hints of cinnamon! Truly delicious!

The intimate and welcoming restaurant is in a great location for visiting the center of Gubbio. The menu is traditional and high-quality. The owner and his staff are very kind and helpful, even providing us with lots of information about local attractions. Highly recommended!

We stopped at this restaurant during a day trip to Gubbio, and it became one of the highlights of the day.
Without a doubt, one of the best restaurants I've eaten at in the last 2-3 years.
The Tensendo Eugubino was delicious, original and truly exquisite, as were the other dishes.
Congratulations to the entire staff for their expertise, customer service, and incredible experience. Bravo!

Excellent restaurant with traditional cuisine, fabulous charcuterie platter and truffle-filled gnocchi.
We came with our dog and they welcomed us more than warmly!

We were there today, October 18, 2025, and there were eight of us... including me, a celiac... excellent menu, top-quality Gubbio cuisine, and very kind and knowledgeable staff...
I highly recommend it even to celiacs because they are attentive and knowledgeable, and they have everything from bread to pasta to desserts made in-house!! 😍😋
If I had to rate Borghese, I'd give it:

We booked by phone and were immediately friendly and helpful. Our expectations were immediately met by the carefully presented and delicious menu and the excellent service from start to finish.
We highly recommend the restaurant for its excellent dishes and impeccable service.

We only went for dinner because we had a special deal with the Hotel San Marco where we stayed. The dinner was divine, everything was excellent, and we'll definitely consider it for a future visit to Gubbio! I'd add "stunning location."
