I celebrated my birthday here, and I couldn't have chosen a better restaurant.
The location is beautiful, and they reserved a lovely round table for us.
Ivan, the owner, is the real asset.
Very friendly and professional.
And the rest of the wait staff was also perfect.
We had a mix of appetizers with their torta fritta. Soft and flavorful, accompanied by a mix of excellent cured meats.
The pinsa and fried polenta were also delicious.
The first courses were all a delight. And we tried so many: tagliatelle with white duck ragu, cappellacci with chicken livers, tagliolini with black truffle, and tagliolini with leek cream. It's usually very difficult not to find fault with any dish in a restaurant when you try a few, but these are the exception that proves the rule, as they were all truly exquisite.
The pork belly as a second course was also excellent.
What can I say? We had a really good time, and it's already on the list of places I'd recommend to anyone looking for my advice on where to eat on a weekend getaway.
Considering the offerings and their quality, the prices are even below average for what a person expects to spend these days.
I won't add anything else. A truly hearty 5 out of 5 stars.

We went for lunch. The welcome was warm. The service was attentive, courteous, and quite quick despite the restaurant being busy. The dishes were excellent. A wide selection of wines was also available. The price was fair. We'll definitely be back.

A very charming restaurant typical of the Parma lower area, with limited seating (reservations recommended). The selection of cured meats (especially culatello) is top-notch. The first courses are exquisite, just like they used to be, and the second courses are very interesting, especially the boiled meats (off-menu), and the selection of dishes paired with His Majesty, the white truffle. The desserts are also top-notch, as are the coffees, with a selection of roasted coffees. A lunch filled with ancient flavors.

As a food-loving Emilian, I can say that everything is top-notch: fantastic cured meats with torta fritta, homemade focaccia, and superb homemade bread. Fabulous first courses, fabulous broth analysis. A selection of boiled meats with everything you can think of. Truly excellent. I didn't pay, but I think the price is a minor detail given the quality.

I found this restaurant while searching.
I'd say it was a fantastic experience. I ate really well, a mix of boiled meats
and delicious cold cuts. The staff was attentive and very pleasant. I was truly satisfied. It's been a long time since I left a restaurant without any negative comments... beyond my expectations, but from the reviews I already knew it was top-notch. Well done everyone. I really hope to return soon.
