Don't order the ravioli al plin! They don't come with roast sauce!

Sensational food! Highly recommended. The first courses are all delicious. There were seven of us, and we ordered different first courses and tried them all (tajarin, agnolotti, ravioli, polenta, and tortellini). We had the braised beef for our second course, which wasn't quite as good as the first courses. For our appetizer, we had the veal with tuna sauce, which was very good.

Excellent traditional cuisine, very nice and clean place, excellent service! We had a great time even though we discovered it by accident! Highly recommended!

Delicious pizzas, thanks in part to the quality ingredients, top-quality cuisine (the hand-chopped raw beef is recommended), friendly and professional service, and last but not least, fair pricing despite being in the center of Alba.

I've been to Locanda da Gió in Alba and I can say it was a delicious experience! We ordered two takeout pizzas, and they were truly exceptional. The "Pizza Hot" was fantastic, with a spicy chili pepper that added a unique touch of flavor. The white pizza with pistachio, basil, mozzarella, and stracciatella was a true revelation, with a balance of flavors and textures that was simply perfect. But what really impressed me was the attention to detail in the packaging. Each pizza was specially thickened to avoid dirtying the cardboard and ruining the pizza, which shows truly appreciable care and attention to detail. The lady who served us was very kind and helpful, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Locanda da Gió in Alba to anyone looking for delicious pizza and excellent service. I'll definitely be back!

The facade isn't impressive, but once inside, the service is excellent, the staff are very welcoming, and the food is very good. The wine, beer, and soft drinks are good. Kids-friendly. Baby-friendly too. I recommend it.
