Lunch included excellent tortelli. I loved them. The beef tagliata was decent.

We stumbled upon this inn by chance. The location is very pretty, both inside and out. The staff is friendly and welcoming. We ordered cured meats and gnocco fritto...exceptional. The radicchio tortelli were fantastic for the first course, and the risotto was delicious. We'll be happy to return. I highly recommend it.

I stayed at Locanda Casa Motta for six days, and I felt at home all six. Both the staff and the owner treated me with kindness and care. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room clean. The rustic atmosphere and the aromas of both dinner and lunch made the experience very welcoming. The space is spacious both inside and out. On Fridays, they have live music, and it's definitely worth a visit, even just for a nice evening. The pizza is excellent, and unlike other places, it's very generous.

Went for lunch for the first time today, April 19, 2026.
The service staff were very professional, and the appetizers were excellent, followed by two exceptional first courses. The house wine was excellent, a Lambrusco recommended by Lorenzo (Lollo), and the total price was reasonable, including desserts and bitters.
We'll definitely be back.

We celebrated a baptism with 35 of us. The appetizers were good, the first courses were decent, and the second courses and side dishes were good. The service was good and attentive; I'd say I was quite satisfied.

In search of gnocco fritto... on Easter Monday evening, we found a place in the middle of the Reggio Emilia countryside.
They welcomed us very kindly in a rustic, clean, and familiar atmosphere.
High-quality gnocco, cured meats... too.
Homemade shoulder cooked with mustard. Parmesan cheese, giardiniera, and fried polenta accompany everything decisively.
Simple but perfect Lambrusco.
Interesting dessert trolley, especially the sbrisolona for me.
Good coffee.
Fair price.
If the outside in winter doesn't appeal to you, let the inside of this renovated farmhouse captivate you. It's worth it!

We loved the friendly, family atmosphere of the place, which features ample parking, a large outdoor area for the summer, and a rustic interior decorated in the same style.
We loved the food, from the appetizers of cured meats and fried gnocco to the exquisite homemade giardiniera and delicious tortelli.
We'll be back to try other delicacies, including the pizza.
They are really good, excellent food and service, honest and reasonable prices.
