Location molto carina, ottima la pulizia e servizio eccellente. Menù non molto ricco ma di qualità e carattere. Buona scelta di vini. Stringozzi cacio RE direi WOWWW gnocchi viola al tartufo eccellenti zuppa di lenticchie molto soddisfacente e crostata di fichi e noci veramente gradevole. Buono anche il caffè e vi assicuro che in un ristorante non è scontato. Bravi ed arrivederci alla prossima.

Cercavamo un posto dove soggiornare per un fine settimana alla scoperta dei borghi Umbri e, avendo uno Smartbox, abbiamo trovato la Locanda Cacio Re tra le disponibilità. La posizione è perfetta, in un borgo (Vallo di Nera) che è tra i più ben tenuti tra quelli visitati, vista magnifica e tranquillità. Alla locanda siamo stati trattati benissimo, le cene degustazione incluse nel cofanetto di alta qualità, la stanza confortevole e la colazione servita con prodotti fatti in casa. Un piccolo gioiello tra le colline, sono contenta di aver scelto questa location.

11/05/2025: The owner does everything, greeting you, waiting on you and cooking. Very enthusiastic and helpful in advising what to eat. Authentic food at very reasonable prices. Visited 3 times in same week. Watched him make and cook our pizzas.
01/05/2025: We had one of our best dinner here. If you visit Perugia, this place is strongly recommended. It's a true authentic Italian restaurant, the owner runs it with his heart and soul.

24/04/2025: Solid gelateria with bold flavors, but room for improvement in texture and service. The pistachio and caramelized peanut flavors were particularly delicious - rich, nutty, and well balanced. That said, the texture of some catemelized peanut flavour could have been a bit creamier. Service-wise, things were a bit underwhelming. The staff got the job done efficiently, but weren’t particularly friendly or welcoming. All in all, a worthwhile stop for flavor-forward gelato, especially if you’re a fan of nut-based varieties. With a bit more warmth in service and a tweak in texture, it could be really great.
