This is a restaurant with very high quality food and is very exquisite. I stopped here briefly and had a delicious dinner. The owner is very enthusiastic and he speaks English. It is highly recommended for you🍴🩵

We found this restaurant by chance 6 years ago and have loved it ever since. Even after 6 years, the food, service and atmosphere are still top notch. All the food is prepared fresh and tastes simply fantastic. The desserts (especially the millefeuille) are simply a dream. In short, an excellent restaurant, with Luca as a very kind and welcoming host. We would always travel an extra hour and a half for this restaurant.

Evocative historic venue in the center of L'Aquila, with a panoramic and romantic terrace. Excellent food with quality raw materials, traditional local dishes prepared in a modern way and with a high aesthetic impact. Delicious pastries and desserts. Nice, friendly staff who pay attention to the customer's well-being.

In assoluto relax, con un ottimo servizio e un ambiente perfetto abbiamo gustato una cena da podio olimpico: maiale nero d'Abruzzo, spaghetti alla chitarra, ravioli d'agnello, agnello panato e frecandò, il tutto accompagnato da un fresco rosè. Tutto davvero memorabile, con una lode particolare per il frecandò. Bravi bravi bravi. Fra l'altro, abbiamo speso molto, ma molto meno di quanto avevo stimato.

Amicizia e buona cucina. Amicizia consolidata nel tempo e rinvigorita da una serata in cui le chiacchiere sono state allietate dai sapori genuini di questo territorio. Una bellissima bottiglia di vino ha fatto il resto. Provate questo locale!!

03/11/2024: The Il Rio restaurant, located in Fontecchio (AQ), is a place that stands out for its traditional Abruzzo cuisine and a welcoming atmosphere. I was able to particularly appreciate the quality of the dishes, which are prepared with fresh ingredients and follow typical recipes of the region. I took the Fettuccine with mushrooms and sausage: excellent, a local specialty. Then steak with french fries. In summary, the Il Rio restaurant was an excellent choice to enjoy authentic Abruzzo dishes in a welcoming and informal setting. The combination of quality food, generous portions and friendly service and competitive prices makes it a must visit place for those in the area.

02/09/2024: Ho trovato questo posto proprio grazie a Tripadvisor e non posso fare altro che confermare quanto già detto di positivo su questo posto. Molto bella la location all'aperto, con tavoli letteralmente immersi nel verde e coperti da teli ombreggianti. Servizio ottimo e veloce (nonostante l'ampio numero di commensali), personale sveglio, cordiale e competente. Portate abbondanti, di ottima qualità e comprensive di piatti particolari. Prezzi leggermente altini per un agriturismo ma comunque giustificati dalla ottima qualità delle materie prime.
25/08/2024: Di ritorno da Campo Imperatore, ci siamo fermati a pranzo in questo accogliente ristorante. Non avevamo prenotato ma fortunatamente c’era ancora posto. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo. Oltre alla evidente qualità del cibo, ottimamente preparato e servito, abbiamo apprezzato tanto la gentilezza e la professionalità dei ragazzi di sala. Il conto ci è sembrato più che onesto. Grazie e a presto!
