Local Food Market In Lucca

Very pleased we tracked down this great little restaurant. Found it first by a search then followed the narrow hallway into a great patio. Service was great. Good variety of food and nice quiet and peaceful place .

Very nice restaurant, also frequented by locals. We had two pizzas, both delicious! English isn't spoken very well here, but you can get by. Thanks!

Same choices as everyone else, basic food, basic tastes, nice but noisy yard. I wouldn't go again.

A great courtyard with friendly staff and good food. Also suitable for large groups! A truly great experience.

La Corte dei Limoni is located by entering a long atrium overlooking a courtyard where the space-time curvature of Lucca's walls transports you to another dimension. Here we sample a bruschetta with crispy speck and a competition-quality caramelized onion. Then we sample two dishes: cod with chickpeas and rabbit in Vermentino. Both were beautifully cooked, especially the rabbit, which leaves only the shiny bones on the plate. The house wine (good), lemon cheesecake (worth a second look), and a round grappa. All in all, €80. The price may be a bit steep, as is generally the case in Lucca, but the medieval location, the quality cuisine, and the owner's friendliness left a sweet aftertaste in our memory (perhaps also thanks to the complimentary limoncello at the end).

All in all, it was amazing. The ambiente was incredible. Pizza and Pommes were good. Even though we're from Germany, we couldn't try the beer. This is sooooo unfortunate. The service was great aswell. Espescially the prices were outstanding: We paid around 15 € per person, including se drinks. The service was great aswell. The lighting was nice and comfortable, because they are using mainly warm glowing burns lights. A must try for every pizza fän.

Service is nice. Staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is great with a beautiful terrace with lemon trees. The pizze were ok. It was a surprise in Italy. The French fries seemed just put directly from hthe frizzer to the microwave.

This is an amazing place: relaxed atmosphere, great food and the staff are incredible. Eating great food surrounded by lemon trees, warm sun and good people - what is not to like. Whole heartedly recommend and also they were very supportive of my attempts at baby Italian !
