The pizza is a little above average, but I give it 5 stars for the courtesy and attentive service, the desserts, the appetizers.... Maa ...

The place is beautiful, the food is delicious, the owner is fantastic, and the staff is equally fantastic. Highly recommended!!!

Top hospitality and even better food!

First of all, the place is truly wonderful: the tranquility of a courtyard just steps from the walls in the heart of the historic center. The entrance portico that opens onto the internal cloister with all the lemon trees is definitely something to revisit, especially when the lemon trees are in bloom. I think it's pure magic in the center of Lucca. Let's move on to the cuisine: tradition, authenticity, and simplicity (simplicity doesn't mean being too pretentious; on the contrary, there's a genuine desire to do every dish justice). The cuisine is truly WELL-executed, with balanced flavors and perfectly portioned dishes. The wine list also includes three wines produced by the owner (also highly recommended). We'll be back because it's truly worth spending time in a place like this.

A normal tavern with rather high prices compared to many other places in the historic center of Lucca.

This cute reataurant is tucked in a little courtyard with a cheerful lemon theme. The food is solid, the service friendly. We were there for lunch, most tables were populated by tourists.

I had the opportunity to eat at this restaurant during Lucca Comics and Games. During the fair, there was quite a line, and the staff managed the crowd well, even letting me know how long it would take to be seated. The courtyard inside was very charming, with tables under a portico adorned with climbing plants and hanging lights. The waitresses were all very kind and attentive. The food was good, not overly flavorful or heavy, which in my opinion is a plus. The price was slightly higher than average, probably also due to the place's reputation. Overall, both I and the other people in our group had a good time and had a pleasant dinner.
