We had dinner at Storico, and it was a truly positive experience. We enjoyed excellent dishes, prepared with top-quality ingredients and raw materials. The appetizers, first courses, second courses, and desserts were delicious and original, a sensory journey for the palate. All this was complemented by excellent and prompt service, coordinated by the helpful and welcoming owners and the kind and attentive waitresses. This restaurant is definitely worth a try.

This is hands down the Numero Uno Ristorante in Como. Each time we have been to Lo Storico, Mary and Nic, have been gracious hosts to us. The food is fresh and delicious. They have numerous freshly prepared seafood dishes to select from. This was our third visit to Lo Storico and we thrilled to see that the quality of the food, the service, supreme and the ambiance with the music and stunning decor enveloping the expectations of dining in Italy. Bravo Mary & Nic!!! Salute!!

Oh my. We were recommended this restaurant by a team member at our hotel. They were right. We had a fabulous meal served by a friendly and professional team. We chatted with the owner afterward who was charming. Highly recommend.

I happened upon Lo Storico by accident while walking the streets in Como. It’s an amazing restaurant in a beautiful outdoor setting. The food was outstanding as was the service. I highly recommend.

Devo dire che è difficile trovare le parole giuste per descrivere l'esperienza avuta a Lo Storico. Tutto quello che abbiamo ordinato era uno spettacolo di sapori. Il pesce fresco, cucinato in modo semplice, aveva un gusto straordinario. Impossibile consigliare dei piatti specifici tra quelli che abbiamo ordinato perché ognuno di essi era speciale e memorabile. I crudi sembravano appena pescati, i gamberi imperiali impressionanti (provare per credere!), gli gnocchi al cucchiaio erano una bontà unica e potrei continuare... Il locale non molto grande e l’arredamento piacevole contribuiscono a creare un’atmosfera intima e rilassante. Lo staff è gentilissimo e attento a ogni dettaglio e i padroni del ristorante trasmettono una sincera passione per il loro lavoro come raramente capita!

Almorzamos y volvimos de nuevo antes de que j partiera de Como. El servicio es de 5 estrellas y la comida está absolutamente hecha con amor. Lo mejor que el Lago de Como tiene para ofrecer. Prueba este lugar. ❤️❤️❤️

26/09/2025: First, the restaurant, then the hotel: I ate there five evenings and was able to sample several items from the menu. The dishes are all freshly prepared with carefully sourced (mostly organic) ingredients from local producers. I found all the dishes – from starters and pastas to main courses and desserts – to be consistently excellent and authentically regional. The prices were completely fair in my opinion. I especially enjoyed the atmosphere. The team is constantly moving between the kitchen and guests, exuding charm and a feel-good atmosphere! The atmosphere in the restaurant (always full of locals) is lively and pleasant! I loved it! The hotel: First of all, if you're looking for the standards of hotel chains, this isn't the place for you. However, if you're looking for a simple, super-clean, and quiet room, you'll feel very comfortable. The prices are super fair, as is the breakfast, which is again prepared in the restaurant according to guests' wishes. Homemade jam is just as much a part of the menu as a slice of homemade cake. Here, too, a truly feel-good atmosphere awaits! It's no surprise that many guests return again and again. Anyone who appreciates the simplicity, honesty, and friendliness of this small, traditional family business will love it.
