Yesterday we wandered around the crowded center of Monopoli. There was no chance of finding a good restaurant. Everything was the same price, mass-produced, and no vino de casa anywhere, just expensive bottled wine. Right around the corner from our apartment, there was an inconspicuous little restaurant – the staff was really friendly, the owner even spoke a bit of English. Although it was a typical fish restaurant, they also served Angus steaks! The best I've ever eaten in Italy! The boiled mussels as an appetizer were also perfect! With salad, fries, and a liter of sensational vino de casa (red Primitivo)! The two of us paid less than €60 for it (without tip)!

Very delicious seafood for a normal price (main dish round 15 €). Quick service. We have been there twice during our two days staying in Monopoli. Highly recommed it.
