Awesome pizza in many different formats that break the norm in Italy. Worth the trip to the small town for it. Great beer selection as well.

My favorite pizzeria! We go regularly, and there's always something new to discover. As a couple, I'd recommend the tasting menu. Their panettone is delicious, too!

At Spela, they only serve pizza: delicious dough, both the one with katsuobushi and lard and the gluten-free one (which they were kind enough to make for me without having ordered). I chose the vegetarian one, which was a bit heavy overall, but the flavor was exceptional (the Jerusalem artichoke on top was something I mistakenly mistook for potato until the end, when I heard the waiter say so at another table...). The gourmet pizza, with lard and katsuobushi, was excellent, but I'd recommend cutting the radicchio leaves so you don't risk washing away all the toppings with the first bite. The welcome polenta and the free gift for Women's Day were appreciated. The myrtle liqueur was excellent, offered in three alcoholic versions, and there was a nice selection of beers. The price of the classic and gluten-free options was excellent; overall, I would have paid a few euros less for the special we ordered. For a few months now, we've been offering tasting menus (one for €50 and one for €65, a total for two people) with three fixed flavors. Next time, we'll probably try the pizzas with that option!

What can I say, I've been there several times already, I live 50 kilometers away, yet I gladly go there to try their pizzas, one above all, the stuffed Margherita is worth the kilometers traveled, so I highly recommend it to everyone

In a place that doesn't raise any particular expectations upon entry, you can enjoy a sublime pizza, both in terms of dough and toppings, and a good beer. On our last visit, the service wasn't up to par with previous ones.

Good food, but the tasting menu isn't recommended. Long waits between courses, and high prices. It's best to order just one pizza from the menu.

The classic pizza was raw on the inside but burnt/black on the bottom. The steamed pizza, a 'focaccia' with burrata and prosciutto, was good but nothing special. Too bad...

Objectively good, truly top-notch. Once upon a time, we'd say "let's go get a pizza," meaning something quick, simple, and without any major surprises. Things have changed, and Lo Spela perfectly embodies this shift. Very courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable staff.
