My husband and I visited the restaurant in August and can definitely recommend it. The chef is extremely professional, and the organic quality of the food exceeded our expectations. We will certainly visit this restaurant again when we return to Sardinia.

My wife and I stumbled upon this restaurant on August 7th (our review is a bit late, sorry!), as we were looking for something nearby that offered typical Sardinian cuisine. It was the best decision we could have made: the chef was not only extremely professional but also knew how to cater to our personal preferences after providing us with detailed information about each dish. It's also worth mentioning that the service was always very friendly and respectful.
The quality of the ingredients was also very fresh and natural (something that's hard to find in Germany). Of course, we came back the next day and tried the culurgionis – I enjoyed them so much that I ordered a second plate!
100% recommended. If I visit Lanusei again, I'll go straight to this restaurant. Many thanks to the chef for his warm hospitality.

Amazing little restaurant in Ilbono! The chef and owner runs everything himself — cooking, serving, smiling — and you can really feel his passion in every dish. We had pasta di capra, culurgiones with porcini, and a perfect bistecca di cavallo, followed by pistachio ice cream and seadas. Everything was delicious, homemade, and full of flavor. A warm, honest place with real Sardinian soul. Highly recommended!

We had a great dinner at this restaurant. Due to the great reviews and pictures we drove there from Arbatax. Already the mountain views on our way from Arbatax to Ilbono were beautiful. The restaurant offers a nice view from the terrace. Sadly we couldn't enjoy it while having dinner since it was already dark when we arrived.
The owner is very friendly and attentive. The pasta is self made and tastes delicious. We all enjoyed our pasta dishes (ravioli, lasagna and pasta fresca) a lot. The serving sizes were large. The prices are a bit higher but it's totally worth it for what you get. The desserts were also delicious and the serving sizes were very large.
I definitely recommend going to this restaurant, even if the journey to this place is a bit longer.

A charming, well-run place with an interesting selection of Sardinian artisanal products; they're not just souvenirs, but genuine gift items, which, in my opinion, is quite different. The owner is very kind, polite, and helpful; he knows how to entertain while also keeping a safe distance. The food is objectively excellent, made using primarily local Ogliastra produce. Prices are, admittedly, a bit high for the location (Ilbono), but overall, they're justified by the quality and practically zero-kilometer sourcing of the products served, as well as the essentially impeccable service. In conclusion, this restaurant is highly recommended for those in the area, or for those simply wanting to wander through Ogliastra's magnificent hinterland, beyond its equally beautiful sea.

Thank you so much for the excellent service and delicious food. The consistent service deserves special mention. We arrived at 4:30 pm and everything tasted fantastic. A word of caution: the pizza oven isn't hot until 6:00 pm. The coals were already glowing, but it does take a while. But I was rewarded with the best pizza in the world.

Finally, a restaurant with a soul. Beautiful place with lovely people. Cuisine with excellent value for money. High-quality products in a pleasant, friendly, and authentic atmosphere. If you're in the area, don't hesitate or even make a detour; you won't regret it. Truly a great place where I hope to return.

A fantastic experience! The manager was truly exceptional, not only for the service but also for the passion with which he shared the history of Ogliastra's culinary traditions. It's rare to find someone so helpful and knowledgeable.
He guided us through the most typical dishes, recommending the true Ogliastra culurgiones—the authentic ones, prepared according to tradition. Each dish he suggested was a discovery: authentic flavors, time-honored recipes, and local ingredients.
The portions were truly generous and the quality excellent. You can immediately tell the love for their land and the desire to share it. A place we'll definitely return to and one we recommend to anyone who wants to discover authentic Ogliastra cuisine!
