Octopus? Definitely try it. Very hospitable and excellent food with very attentive service. Good value for money, especially for Capri. We'll be back.

Given the great reviews here, we had high expectations - which were not met. The food was good, but not outstanding. Drinks and appetizers are way overpriced.

This is an outstanding restaurant. We went there after Chatgpt recommended it and we went back every night we were on the island, three times. The food great, service excellent, atmosphere perfect. We tried something different off the menu every night and we were happy with everything we were served. We recommend the calzone and chicken with lemon sauce. Also the lemon dessert and tiramisu were the best. We recommend this restaurant while staying on Capri.

Pequeño restaurante pintoresco fuera del centro de la ciudad, bien vale la pena caminar! El servicio era genial y la comida era fantástica. Definitivamente debe intentarlo.

Empezamos con los mejillones y Calamari. Pasó a la pasta con músculos y almejas. Nuestra entrada era la viga de mar cocinada con limones y naranjas. Terminado con el postre de limón. Todo acompañado de una botella de vino local sugerido por el personal. También me gustaría preguntar al personal por los vinos locales de la región que también son pequeños productores. Todo era muy maravilloso y bien presentado. El personal es servicial y atrayente. En general, una comida maravillosa fuera de lo común. Sin duda vale la pena visitar este restaurante cuando en Capri no te dejes intimidar, es cuesta arriba, pero es cuesta abajo en el camino a casa. También noté que había mucha pizza saliendo por la puerta.

11/01/2026: Stayed August 2025. We had an unforgettable stay at Bellevue Syrene. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional and every detail was thoughtfully handled. A special thank you to Antonino, the concierge, who booked all of our dinners. We gave him full discretion, and every choice was excellent. The tasting menu at the hotel’s restaurant, La Pergola, was a standout and one of our best meals in Sorrento. Each evening, we made a ritual of having drinks at Il Costiera before dinner. The terrace views are stunning, and the cocktails are just as good. I order an old fashioned everywhere I go, and theirs was among the best I’ve had. We also spent hours each day at the hotel’s “beach” — a pier extending into the Mediterranean with great sun exposure and crystal-clear water for swimming, set among ancient Roman arches carved into the cliffs. Don’t miss a limoncello spritz down there; it’s the perfect way to cool off. The highlight of our trip was a day on the hotel’s private boat, Isola. Our pilot, Damiano, was exceptional. We circumnavigated Capri and stopped for an open-water swim — a truly breathtaking and romantic experience. Bellevue Syrene is more than a hotel; it’s a complete experience. We couldn’t recommend it more highly.
