Lo Sfizio In Capri

A lovely Capri restaurant with wonderful local food. The employees are kind and welcoming. Will visit Lo Sfizio again if I went back to Capri

Absolut fantastic! More understatement :)

Excellent lunch! Took what the staff recommended and was not disappointed. The seafood was delicious. The wine recommended of similar quality. Perhaps the best part was however the location, you are not in Capri town and that is a big plus in our book.

The food was amazing but unfortunately the service wasn't. We got sat down and no one came to see us and after 20 minutes 2 other tables that got sat down after us already had ordered and received their drinks and appetizers. We had to stop the waiter who seemed to avoid us after that. Didn't ask us if we wanted to share so had to do that after leaving our appetizers but didn't give us a spoon to split compared to the table ne t to us who took the same one as us with a spoon. Why were we being treated differently? Is it because we were wearing beach clothing and not high end dresses? Service is at least half of the experience and let me tell you that we didn't get any great hospitality from this place. For that I wouldn't recommend especially since for the price there are so many other high end choices!

I ate here the night I got engaged and the staff went above and beyond to make the night that I will remember for the rest of my life. On top of the people, the food was the best meal we ate in this region of Italy. Everything we ordered was delicious. If I am ever in Capri, I will ensure I return to eat here. 11 out of 10. Best authentic Italian meal - we wish we had time to eat here again! Had the bruschetta (so fresh) the mussels (amazing flavor and huge portion), the pizza and the sausage eggplant pasta & WOW. Everything was incredible flavor. Highly recommends

Amazing food and service! We were thinking of not coming here as it was 15 minutes walk from the town. Glad that we came here. It was really nice experience, food and service. Enjoyed the stuffed pizza, lemon sponge cake and lemoncello shots! Service was also first class!

Having eaten at a lot of places in Capri I really like this place a lot. The walk up to it (whilst a bit steep) is very pleasant. The service inside I find excellent and the food quality very high and portions the perfect size (not too small, not too big). The prices are also very reasonable which I like - they could rinse tourists if they want but haven’t (eg mixed salad is 5/6 euros vs some places double digit). In terms of setting, it’s a pleasant comfortable setting inside (with seating available in the quiet street) outside so there’s no “sea view” but you don’t come here for that. You notice the quality via a lot of smaller details - the draught beer comes in a lovely frozen glass, they have proper salt and pepper grinders etc. I have always been for lunch and really enjoy the walk back into town.

Pequeño restaurante pintoresco fuera del centro de la ciudad, bien vale la pena caminar! El servicio era genial y la comida era fantástica. Definitivamente debe intentarlo.

Empezamos con los mejillones y Calamari. Pasó a la pasta con músculos y almejas. Nuestra entrada era la viga de mar cocinada con limones y naranjas. Terminado con el postre de limón. Todo acompañado de una botella de vino local sugerido por el personal. También me gustaría preguntar al personal por los vinos locales de la región que también son pequeños productores. Todo era muy maravilloso y bien presentado. El personal es servicial y atrayente. En general, una comida maravillosa fuera de lo común. Sin duda vale la pena visitar este restaurante cuando en Capri no te dejes intimidar, es cuesta arriba, pero es cuesta abajo en el camino a casa. También noté que había mucha pizza saliendo por la puerta.
