Excellent pizzeria near Pavia. Punctual and precise service. The warm and welcoming atmosphere is typical of a traditional village trattoria. Prices per person are in line with the quality offered. The homemade desserts are perfectly executed; the first and second courses are also excellent. Special mention goes to the fish dishes; the fried fish was just the right amount of "dry" and tasty. I'll definitely be back.

I ordered spaghetti with garlic and oil, a 25cm spaghetti with prosciutto and anchovies, and a 25cm spaghetti with burrata and prosciutto. The pasta is excellent, despite its simplicity. The pizzas are thin, almost like focaccias with a thin crust, well-filled, and tasty. The service was excellent, and the price was in line with today's pizzerias—fair, I'd say. It's a welcoming place, and I'll be back because I want to try some of the first and second courses.

01/08/2025: Il Caminetto has been a favorite of the family in Italy for many years. Some menu items change with the season, and everything is perfect every time. Lunch is generally walk-in, but dinner is busy and best to have a reservation. There is a warmth and love that you can sense in all dishes. It is worth diverting a drive from the Autostrada to get one of the best meals of your life.
23/07/2025: An average restaurant, I'd say it can be classified as one of many good restaurants, without excelling in anything in particular. To sum it up, I'd say it's neither good nor bad, like many others in its category.
