Excellent bar and restaurant for relaxing by the sea. Special thanks to the kindness of the staff, especially the girl who made me coffee. I'll be back.

A stunning, very simple place, and it was in this simplicity that we enjoyed an excellent seafood dinner overlooking the sea. The food was incredibly high quality and the dishes were innovative with winning combinations. The staff was exceptional: courteous, kind, friendly, and knowledgeable (they recommended several dishes or pairings, upon closer inspection). A truly unique experience.

Lo Sciabecco in Marina di Ascea is a guarantee! A meticulously maintained restaurant on the western seafront, serving authentic Mediterranean cuisine with the freshest seafood and exquisitely prepared traditional Cilento dishes. Generous portions, perfect presentation, and flavors that will stay with you forever. The plus? They also have their own private beach, incredibly convenient: you can go from a day at the beach to dinner with your feet still in the sand—a dream. But the best thing is the OWNERS: incredibly friendly, extremely helpful, and they make you feel at home from the first minute. A genuine welcome, genuine smiles, and attention to every detail. You can tell they love what they do. Superb value. If you're in Ascea, this is a MUST. I'll definitely be back.

We had an ice cream but the courtesy and the very well-kept environment deserve 5 stars.

I think it's hard to find a better value in Marina di Ascea and Cilento in general. My wife and I enjoyed excellent cod on a bed of creamed fava beans and pancetta, served with escarole: a sublime experience. The pistachio semifreddo was also excellent. The service was courteous and efficient, and the owner was friendly and attentive. €60, including a glass of wine, was well spent.
