Minimal pasta portion. They say 120 grams but it's less. 15 euros for a starter for 90 grams of pasta, no problem. Excellent service, the waiters are great. Reservation over the phone was abrupt, you can't tell if they'll take it or not because they immediately hang up after telling us how many of us there are.

A must! There's little more to add... the food is excellent and the service is courteous and never intrusive. If you come to Rome and want to eat in a place where the history that led to Italian unification passed through, you can't miss Lo Scarpone.

The crossroads between the ancient Aurelia and Via di San Pancrazio, if you choose the latter, leads to a building known for being one of the outposts used by Garibaldi's troops during the Roman Republic of 1849, and also an inn that was given this very distinctive name.
The old entrance has been disused for obvious reasons related to the traffic on the road.
The restaurant is very large, and the rooms are spacious and welcoming.
The traveler refreshed himself with a delicious plate of fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and a reliable traditional artichoke. A Trentino white wine served as a fitting accompaniment to both dishes.
The service was fast, efficient, and courteous. The price was fair. We'll definitely return.

The pizzas are very good, as are the fried appetizers. Don't miss the fried vegetables. The place is charming, both inside and out. I plan to return to try the grilled meats; you can choose the cut directly from the refrigerator. The wine list is well-stocked, and the markups aren't excessive compared to the retail price. For me, the on-site parking is priceless; it's unique in the area.

The menu here is really impressive — lots of tasty options, it’s hard to choose. I went for the pasta, and it was just perfect! Everything was cooked well, served beautifully, and the service was quick and friendly. The prices are fair too. I used the service shown in the photo to calculate the calories. Super convenient — just took a picture and got the full breakdown. A must-have for anyone keeping track of their meals.
