Agriturismo Poggio dei Cavalieri In Roma

Delicious food and great location.

We had a WiFi issue in our room. We stayed for three days, and from the very first day, despite reporting the problem, it wasn't resolved. Breakfast wasn't included in the price. One morning, two of us decided to have it (€8 per person). We were disappointed. We had a tart, simple PAGO fruit juices, cereal, cornflakes, and little else. All supermarket products, among other things. Normally, in a property like this, breakfast includes milk, yogurt, jams, Nutella, various homemade cakes/tarts, eggs and cured meats, warm croissants, fresh bread, and fresh fruit. One afternoon, we ordered a prosecco; it was warm and flat... As for the location, there's nothing to complain about. The rooms are tidy and well-kept. The blacksmith room where we stayed didn't have air conditioning, but the bathroom had a whirlpool tub.

We stayed two nights, what can I say... WE RECOMMEND IT! We thank the owner for his professionalism and efficiency, who promptly and accurately resolved an initial problem. We believe professionalism is measured in how inconveniences are handled, and it was wonderful. Excellent food, wonderful location for those seeking tranquility and proximity to Rome. Beautiful place, surrounded by nature With the possibility of seeing animals (including some fantastic buffalo)

A farmhouse nestled in the green countryside of Rome. I stayed there for two nights and three days for a wedding. The rooms were simple and clean; mine was perhaps a little dark, but pleasant. Breakfast was included, and the food was truly delicious. The amatriciana was superb! The staff were incredibly friendly. It's a great location if you're looking for a weekend getaway. Highly recommended!

A welcoming, well-kept place surrounded by greenery. I ate very well: simple, authentic dishes made with local products. It was also wonderful to see the farm animals, which add an authentic touch to the experience. The atmosphere is peaceful and the staff are friendly. Recommended for a relaxing day in nature.

Went for a restaurant, a beautiful place nestled in the countryside that almost didn't feel like we were in Rome. Excellent and friendly table service, and to finish, a prosecco to enjoy the view in the sunshine.

I've stayed at Poggio dei Cavalieri several times for a course outside Rome, and in five weekends, I've never had a problem. The place is a slice of paradise nestled in the Roman countryside. The staff (all young) have always been incredibly kind and helpful. Every day I've been there, I've tried different dishes for dinner, and I've never left the table unsatisfied. If you enjoy being in touch with nature, free from smog and noise, this place is perfect. Thank you, Maurizio, Simona, and all the staff 👋🏻
