A farmhouse nestled in the green countryside of Rome. I stayed there for two nights and three days for a wedding. The rooms were simple and clean; mine was perhaps a little dark, but pleasant. Breakfast was included, and the food was truly delicious. The amatriciana was superb! The staff were incredibly friendly. It's a great location if you're looking for a weekend getaway. Highly recommended!

A welcoming, well-kept place surrounded by greenery. I ate very well: simple, authentic dishes made with local products. It was also wonderful to see the farm animals, which add an authentic touch to the experience. The atmosphere is peaceful and the staff are friendly. Recommended for a relaxing day in nature.

Went for a restaurant, a beautiful place nestled in the countryside that almost didn't feel like we were in Rome. Excellent and friendly table service, and to finish, a prosecco to enjoy the view in the sunshine.

Couple's lunch in February. We opted for the all-inclusive menu (drinks not included). As for the food, I'd give the appetizers 5 stars, while the first courses, main courses, and side dishes are around 3 stars (obviously, tastes vary). The location is very pretty: a farmhouse surrounded by greenery with several indoor dining rooms. The only real drawback was the route to get there. Google Maps recommends two roads, and unfortunately, we took the dirt one, full of potholes and large stones that looked like they were taken in Ancient Rome. I recommend paying close attention to which route you choose; unfortunately, when we booked by phone, no one warned us against taking that route. Aside from that hiccup, everything went well! A note on the ambience: given the clientele, it seemed like a place frequented more by families than couples.

I've stayed at Poggio dei Cavalieri several times for a course outside Rome, and in five weekends, I've never had a problem. The place is a slice of paradise nestled in the Roman countryside. The staff (all young) have always been incredibly kind and helpful. Every day I've been there, I've tried different dishes for dinner, and I've never left the table unsatisfied. If you enjoy being in touch with nature, free from smog and noise, this place is perfect. Thank you, Maurizio, Simona, and all the staff 👋🏻

We had lunch here and had a really good time. The staff was friendly and welcomed us right away, and the food was truly delicious. The place is surrounded by nature and has various animals. We'll be back!

We visited this agriturismo for Easter lunch with a set menu. The place is truly enchanting: surrounded by greenery, well-kept, and very relaxing. The restaurant is spread over multiple levels, with two rooms upstairs and a covered veranda downstairs overlooking a beautiful garden. The pen with American cows is also very charming, adding an even more charming touch to the setting. The staff was impeccable: professional, kind, and always available. Unfortunately, however, the food didn't live up to expectations. The appetizers were decent: cold cuts were okay, mini supplì were so-so, meatballs were okay, and the cereal salad was okay. The first courses were mixed: I didn't like the artichoke ravioli, while the trofie with crispy speck, eggplant cream, and goat cheese were truly delicious. The second courses, however, were the most disappointing: neither the lamb nor the beef morsels in Barolo convinced me, the latter in particular being rather stringy. The side dishes were fairly basic: salad and baked potatoes, but the latter were topped with an unpleasant sauce that I didn't appreciate. Dessert, unfortunately, was the low point of the meal: a chocolate tart with almond and orange sauce. Very heavy and creamy, with a creamy filling that vaguely resembled hazelnut, but all you could taste was the chocolate and no other flavor. Overall, it wasn't very pleasant, more like a plum cake than a true dessert. The wines, both white and red, were good. In conclusion, it's a real shame because the location is truly worth it, but the quality of the food, especially considering a fixed festive menu, left much to be desired on more than one occasion.
