Quiet restaurant offering quality products. The salads and spaghetti Bolognese were fine for us in terms of quantity. The prices are a little high, but like everywhere else in Portofino (€118 for 4 people, main course, dessert, and drinks). Very welcoming. The service was very good. There were 8 of us and 2 small dogs.

It's a very unique restaurant: you either love it or you don't. The food is truly excellent. The portions may seem small or even insufficient at first, but that's normal: the dishes are meant to be enjoyed with their homemade focaccia, offered by the waitstaff. Once you've savored everything, you're completely satisfied—and it's a real treat. The atmosphere is calm, with a light breeze that's pleasantly refreshing. The servers are friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.

The food was quite good and the staff was friendly. The only problem is that the portions are very small. Note that the menu is available in English, Italian, and French.

Seafood platter was delicious. Trofie with pesto was the best we’ve had and seafood ravioli was spectacular. Staff were very busy but one can hardly complain about that. Will come back.

Portofino is too much touristic and expensive place and it is almost impossible to find a good food good service place. L’isolotto is a very moderate comforting and nice place. Food is good. Service team is extremely kind and helpful. Almost impossible to find this in any place. Most of the places they look for more money and they act rude.

Abbiamo trovato per caso questo ristorante e senza leggere altre recensioni ci siamo sedute in un tavolino all'aperto. Ebbene abbiamo mangiato molto bene. Personale gentilissimo e sempre sorridente (e non capita sempre) a prezzi giusti per la location! Un posto che consigliamo a tutti coloro che si trovano a Portofino e non vogliono spendere una fortuna per un pranzo!

Consigliato, accolti da un cameriere molto cortese e disponibile. Giusta varietà di piatti da ordinare e di buona qualità; prezzi bassi rispetto a tutti i locali della zona. Posto familiare in un vicoletto che sfocia sulla piazza di Portofino.

07/08/2025: An excellent experience! I thoroughly enjoyed the cuisine, with predominantly seafood dishes, the freshest ingredients, and meticulously presented. The service was elegant and attentive. The terrace overlooking the sea makes everything even more special.
04/08/2025: How do I begin? It's now a regular stop when we come to Genoa! We're always amazed by the menu and the atmosphere. The raw fish is fresh and high-quality, the dishes are elaborate, and the combinations are surprising! The staff and owner Monica are super professional and knowledgeable; they pamper you and make you feel at home. The quality/price ratio is excellent. We'd like to petition to have the fusilli with lobster, marinated orange, and crispy carrots back on the menu; they were delicious! 🤪

12/08/2025: Tried during a day at the beach, the restaurant offers a lovely shaded veranda where you can enjoy lunch al fresco. The mixed seafood appetizer is excellent (honorable mention goes to the very interesting tuna mosciame), followed by spaghetti alla marinara, the restaurant's signature dish, truly delicious in its simplicity, and finishing with seasonal fish and ice cream. Friendly service. Reservations are required. Prices reflect the quality of the ingredients offered.
10/08/2025: We stopped at this restaurant before heading back to Portofino and after spending a few hours on the beach in San Fruttuoso. The service was quick, very friendly, and the food was delicious (the pesto lasagna was truly fantastic). Perhaps the mixed fried fish was a bit cheap for the price (€23), and they could add more squid rings. I recommend booking in advance, or if, like us, you're walking from Camogli and arrive early enough, book directly on site!
