Wonderful. A pre-set menu that you can repeat. A must-see in the Dolomites.

Over the years it has maintained itself excellently, the fixed menu is always varied and surprising. Very good meat, unforgettable polenta and the grilled cheese is to die for. Very friendly service, not to be missed.

Ristorante L’Insonnia in Forno di Zoldo was a very pleasant surprise. As soon as you sit down, you don’t even have to order: the flask of wine arrives and after five minutes they start filling your table. Fixed menu, super typical, and every dish is a delight. Simply phantasmagorical stew, tender and tasty like few others. The cabbage salad is a bomb of flavor, the beans with onions and sausages complete the picture perfectly. But the absolute best? The melted cheese cake: pure lust, something to mop up with bread. Generous portions, quick and no-frills service. The bill is a little above average, but given the quality and the experience, it’s all fair. Definitely a place to return to, perhaps on an empty stomach and very hungry.

If you like good food with simple flavors and served in a place immersed in a beautiful panorama of great mountains and you want to spend little this is the right place. Excellent food service view and price all together.

What can I say 5 stars, and I'm usually stingy in giving excellent ratings. Place inserted in a suggestive naturalistic congest. Excellent home-made food, impeccable service, very clean bathrooms and excellent wine. Fair price, not easy to find nowadays

Nice and large place in the middle of the greenery, they bring you what there is to eat, but if you want to order something else they do it anyway. Excellent and kind staff service! I recommend it!

pranzo senza tanti“fronzoli”dove la qualità/tradizione la fa da “padrona“. consigliato super !!! valdizoldo tra amici non andate oltre fermatevi !!!

Restaurant where you eat a lot. Same menu for everyone, polenta served directly from the panaro, stew, cotechino, pastin, grilled cheese, vegetables and beans. All washed down with water and plenty of red wine. They continue to come back for those who still want, any of the courses. At the end homemade dessert, coffee with grappa. Recommended for those who like this type of food, certainly not light.

La qualità del cibo era molto buono, cose semplici ma cucinate bene. Buon ambiente, buon servizio. Il caffè purtroppo era acqua sporca. Per il tipo di cibo (buono, ma semplice) e quantità, 35€ prezzo fisso a persona mi sembra assurdo.
