Quality Piedmontese cuisine, we tried: veal with tuna sauce, bagna cauda, ​​Alba ravioli and braised meat in Barolo. EXCELLENT service Stunning location in the center of Alba. Exceptional, worth trying again to taste the truffle!

Excellent dinner, high standard food and wine.

Four of us had dinner on a Saturday evening. Full place, we booked the previous evening. Table in the basement, barrel vault with exposed brick, quiet. The four first courses based on white truffle arrived with the truffle already grated, no weighing at the table. Unfortunately the disappointment was notable, a few transparent slices, one might say a truly 'Mudest' quantity... declared from 3 to 5 grams, but the minimum threshold was not reached. Discreet aroma, but impalpable flavor. Luckily, the next day we had an encore in a restaurant in Barbaresco, with a completely different treatment (weighing at the table and much more adequate quantity of grating) for the same price. The sauce for the Barolo braised meat is excellent (not so much the cut of meat), the other second courses are good. We were recommended the wine to pair with the truffle, the proposed Barbera label was appreciated. Given the overall experience, we won't be returning

Good dinner with a special mention for the risotto with autumn flavours. Very nice downstairs room.
