Lillo Tatini In Panicale

What a wonderful family run restaurant well deserving of its Michelin recommendation. The food was local and tasty. The cheeses supplied by a local Tuscan cheese maker who supplies them four different cheeses a month. The pasta was homemade and filling. The wine list was extensive. The service was friendly and helpful with recommendations as well as background to the dishes. 100% recommended.

Had a very pleasant evening, nice atmosphere, beautiful terrace in the middle of Panicale, but absolutely 5 stars for the chef, the owner and his daughter Bianca. The service was very friendly without being pushy. Everything is right here! Keep up the good work!

Back in the area after 2 years. We drove 35 km specifically to enjoy the atmosphere and dishes again. Can only confirm what I wrote before, a must-do. Very cozy restaurant with a cozy, romantic terrace, just a little higher in the village with a beautiful view of the central square. The dishes are very tasty at normal prices. The service and friendliness of father and daughter are excellent. Dad regularly comes to the table to chat in his juicy English with an Italian accent. Great, if you are in the area be sure to make a reservation in time and visit. (And don't be disturbed by the theatrically noisy Americans who are too numerous in the village).

We shared three pastas and each one was unique and delicious. The restaurant is run by a multigenerational family and you could tell their passion and commitment to great food and customer service. The restaurant is located in a small, historic, hill top town right in the middle of the main square and exuded plenty of old world charm. Certainly off the beaten path and Highly recommended.

It's hard to believe that in this small but beautiful town there is such a restaurant with a view of the fountain in the market square. Unfortunately, nothing works here without a reservation. It is a small but very fine and exclusive piece of heaven when it comes to good food. When making your reservation you can choose your wine, which will then be opened and decanted before your actual visit. This means you can enjoy a good red wine from the first moment. We had a Casanova di Neri Brunello. From the home-baked bread to the starter (pasta is highly recommended) you get to the main course with very unusual dishes. We didn't try eel, pigeon or rabbit, but everyone around us seemed to really enjoy it. For us the two “Dolce” were a highlight (see photos). The service is outstanding. All dishes are explained in detail when served. Definitely go eat there. A special experience. Insider tip: Cannelloni with three types of fish. WOW!

Est!Est!Est! By luck we found a free table on the cozy outdoor terrace with a view of the piazza. Very friendly people with pleasant craft knowledge and excellent advice. True ambassadors of the delicious Umbrian cuisine. Very careful attention to details such as bread, olive oil, etc. I have eaten pigeon and I don't dare to do that everywhere, but here absolutely according to the rules of the art and pigeon is central to the plat, no frills. We highly recommend this restaurant, a paradise within a paradise, the town itself. You can also buy excellent local olive oil here and taste it first with expert advice. Not sure where to start to describe this overwhelming experience. We had 3 dinners here in less than a week! Every dish you eat and every glass you drink here is the result of meticulous work fed by passion and a relentless search for excellence. Wow, wow, wow! If you’re anywhere near Panicale, book a table here. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.
