L’ile douce In Milano

Good service, excellent quality puff pastry. In my opinion slightly overpriced: a cappuccino, a tea and two pastries 15.80€.

The food was good, the place is very small so after a while you will have to get up because there is not room for everyone.

During our vacation we had breakfast in the cafe every morning. The croissants with different fillings are exceptionally delicious. The coffee is also very good, the owner and the staff are very friendly, recognize you and know what you want. Thanks so much!

The pistachio, white chocolate and lemon Neapolitan is spectacular. The chocolate cinnamon is also very good, but the Neapolitan one overshadowed everything. If I return to Milan one day, I will try it again. Very good value for money.

Very refined and refined pastry shop in the Isola/Porta Garibaldi area. It is the ideal place to experience a French breakfast or enjoy a perfectly balanced single portion. The staff is very friendly and available to explain products and ingredients, making the customer feel very at ease. Honorable mention for the pancakes filled with vanilla custard and the linzer single portion, truly remarkable!

We had the pleasure of having breakfast at L'Île Douce, near Porta Garibaldi, for two consecutive mornings, and each time the experience was impeccable. The place appears elegant and with attention to detail, immediately conveying a feeling of welcome and tranquility. The staff is one of the real strengths: smiling, prepared, fast and very organised. They make you feel at home immediately, without ever being intrusive. The quality of the food is simply top. The croissants are fragrant, light and filled with delicate and well-balanced creams. The sweet and savory proposals are all of the highest level, prepared with fresh and selected ingredients. Honorable mention to the orange juice: fresh, made on the spot, without compromises, perfect for starting the day with energy and taste. Île Douce really manages to stand out in the Milanese panorama, offering a breakfast experience that combines quality, service and a refined environment. It has undoubtedly become one of our points of reference when we are in the Garibaldi area. A place that we recommend with our eyes closed to those looking for a break with authentic taste and impeccable service.

The cafeteria is average, the desserts are good

Avevo voglia di consolarmi con un dessert dopo un pranzo un po' deludente in zona. Vedendo la vetrina invitante di questa pasticceria, la mia compagna ed io abbiamo deciso di entrare. I posti a sedere non sono molti, ma dopo un po' di attesa siamo riusciti ad accomodarci. Abbiamo optato per due monoporzioni accompagnate da un caffè. La tartelletta alla vaniglia si è rivelata discreta, per quanto non indimenticabile, molto più interessante invece il dolce speziato alla zucca, preparato con glassa a specchio, un cuore gelatinoso molto gradevole,caratterizzato da un perfetto bilanciamento di gusto (non troppo dolce, come piace a me) e consistenze. Quest'ultimo era perfetto anche al taglio e l'ho divorato veramente con piacere. L'atmosfera del locale purtroppo è un po' caotica, per via degli spazi non molto ampi, ma il personale di servizio è giovane e simpatico. Nel complesso è un locale sicuramente promosso e tornerei volentieri per provare altri prodotti.
