L’ile douce In Milano

Since day one, L’Île Douce has been my favorite spot, not just in Milan, but anywhere in the world! Stepping inside feels like teleporting straight to a top French boulangerie. The display alone is enough to make you swoon, packed with croissants and pastries that look, and taste, like art. The croissants? Absolutely next level: buttery, flaky, and filled with the kind of pastry cream that makes you forget everything else. Seasonal treats keep the menu fresh and always a surprise. Pair it with a V60 specialty coffee from world-class roasters (think Dak from Amsterdam) and you're in heaven! Staff are friendly, passionate, and genuinely love sharing their creations. Bonus: once a month, they host French-themed dinners with top-notch wines. Prices are fair for the quality you get. Bottom line: L’Île Douce isn’t just a café, it’s a little slice of France in Milan, perfect for croissant lovers and coffee nerds! Since opening, L'Île Douce has earned a special place among my favorites, not only in Milan but around the world! As soon as you enter, the atmosphere is reminiscent of a true French boulangerie: the counter is overflowing with croissants, Viennese pastries, and top-quality pastries, all prepared with great care. The croissants are the real highlight: fragrant, buttery, perfect with custard, and every seasonal offering is surprising from the first bite. The quality of the pastries is paired with top-notch specialty coffee, also served using the V60 method from international roasters like Dak of Amsterdam. The staff is always friendly and passionate, ready to guide you in your selection and expertly explain the preparations. Once a month, they host French-themed dinners, accompanied by excellent wines, which complete the experience. Prices are more than in line with the quality offered. L'Île Douce remains without a doubt the ideal place in Milan to enjoy excellent croissants and pastries paired with top-notch coffee.

A place of the heart. Highly recommended.

Excellent for breakfast any day of the week. It can sometimes be hard to find a table on weekends, but it's worth the wait. The croissants are delicious and the service is wonderful.

Very warm welcome and delicious pastries, but they're generous with the prices (3.50 for pastries and 4.50 for cookies/biscuits). Pleasant terrace with 6 tables outside and several inside. We recommend it (if you're not too picky about prices).

Breakfast with fantastic French pastries

French-style boulangerie. Super friendly staff, delicious pastries. The place is well-kept and sophisticated, but that doesn't mean it loses its humanity.

Finalmente ho provato questo posto che mi è apparso tantissimo sui social. Locale carino in Isola, con sedute all’esterno. Pasticceria in stile francese. Ho optato per uno chausson con ricotta e pistacchio e un pain suisse con confettura e pezzi di mela annurca. Quest ultimo era incredibile, sia per l’impasto che il ripieno, una coccola. Lo chausson come sfogliato è pazzesco, la ricotta per i miei gusti è troppo dolce, il pistacchio è ben bilanciato. Prezzi corretti e un plauso al servizio , da tornarci
