The outdoor seating had a wonderful inviting ambiance. The food was fabulous and appreciate that the restaurant allowed sharing go of tasting menu. Tasting menu was a method to try so many delicious items, especially the truffles. Loved the burratta ravioli ! Sommelier recommended a spectacular red wine that was not just the most expensive on the menu. Steak entree was cooked perfectly and we age our own steaks. The best part of the meal was Deborah, our server, who made us feel at home, made great suggestions and shared our love of food. ASK for her to take a great experience to off the chart magnificent. Thanks Life Garden for a lovely evening! I would recommend to anyone who is. Sitting Rome and needs a recommendation for dinner near Spanish steps.

Although the prices are a bit high, the quality of the food, the service, and the ambiance are all things that leave a lasting impression on me. One of the waiters, Mateo, was friendly and kind.

We had an excellent dinner at Life the food was well prepared and presented. Staff were helpful and engaging. We started with the fried egg with truffles and fried flowers with buffalo ricotta. Shared a pasta carbonara with truffles. Secondo was sole with truffles and the fish special. Finished with dessert. All accompanied by a wonderful wine suggested by staff. Their not going to like this part but to be honest my only problem and why I only gave 4 stars was the following after 10 trips to Italy and many stops across the country and having been at Life twice before this was the first time I as ask for a tip and it was (x) on the bill. Can’t help but think this was directed at us because we were from the US as I said 3 trip first time this happened.

Siamo stati a cena varie volte in questo locale e perciò possiamo dare un giudizio che non è fondato su una singola esperienza ma che ha trovato conferma in tutte le occasioni. Il locale è elegante e curato in ogni particolare, e questa è ovviamente una caratteristica dell'esercizio che non cambia, mentre possono variare i giudizi sulle singole serate: ebbene, non vi è stata una sola occasione in cui non siamo rimasti soddisfatti. Degne di nota sono in specie le proposte al tartufo; ma si apprezzano anche le variazioni stagionali e i vari menu degustazione (ad esempio in questo periodo a base di carciofi, veramente notevoli). La "mano" in cucina è particolarmente leggera: non una volta abbiamo avuto la sensazione di aver mangiato qualcosa di più pesante di quando si mangia in casa. La lista dei vini è molto ricca e con ricarichi adeguati. Il personale è professionale ma non distaccato e, in effetti, al contempo molto cortese. I prezzi: assolutamente giustificati per quanto viene proposto (anzi, al limite si tratta di uno di quei rarissimi casi in cui non ci si stupirebbe se si trovasse il conto anche un po' più alto...). Insomma, si tratta di un locale che merita ampiamente i giudizi positivi che vengono espressi e che, pertanto, consigliamo vivamente.
