A beach worthy of the name, with plenty of space between umbrellas and huts built with natural materials, in a wild and unspoiled setting on the beautiful Ionian coast of Basilicata.

Excellent beach for a quiet getaway. Fairly fine sand. The sea is usually seaweed-free. The umbrellas are spaced far apart. In the back rows, they also have larger umbrellas called gazebos, designed for three loungers. There's also a beach volleyball court. There are free restrooms and paid showers. The bar serves coffee, drinks, and ice cream, and since they have a kitchen behind it, you can order sandwiches, pasta, and fried fish at lunchtime. Unfortunately, this service isn't always available, so it's best to call ahead to check.

We found a seat right away, even in the front row, even though it was late and we hadn't booked. Great welcome, excellent sea, large, well-spaced umbrellas.

We enjoyed excellent fish dishes in a beautiful setting in mid-May, during the off-season: Tagliatelle ai ragu di prawni, Tagliatelle con pomodori e sepia grillate, Pasta con sugo di cacao e pomodori e prawnetti. For main courses, we had Frittura Mista, Frittura di Paranza with various types of fish, and delicious Acciughe frite. The fish was caught fresh that very day, and you could taste the difference! The mixed salad was a generous portion with many ingredients: arugula, fennel, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, puntarelle (volcanic asparagus), and more. Everything was very fresh. As avid travelers to Italy, we haven't experienced such quality in a long time. We received very friendly service and had interesting conversations. The beach is beautifully and invitingly designed with natural materials. We will definitely be back!

The owners are excellent. The beach is well-maintained, but above all, the umbrellas (and other items) are spaced apart, ensuring privacy. I was very impressed by their attention to this detail. The price is slightly higher than average, but more than justified by the fact that, I believe, they don't aim for overwhelming crowds.
