The restaurant is located in Perugia's historic center, overlooking one of the city's most famous scakeda promenades. Both savory and sweet crepes are available, along with vegan and gluten-free options. The staff is always friendly and young. In my opinion, one of the best recipes in the area.

If you're celiac, you absolutely have to have lunch here! We've tried both gluten-free and lactose-free crepes and piadinas, which are truly exceptional! It's one of those places where they don't say no to gluten-free, but they recreate it exactly as it is (the Ferrero Roche crepe was recreated to perfection).

Extremely kind and charismatic staff. Piadinas and crepes with delicious freshly made dough. Brioches served hot any time of day. A spectacular hot chocolate and, finally, a REAL Americano! 110 with honors.

Sud Osteria Popolare

12/01/2026: Passing through Perugia, we were looking for a place to dine that wasn't the usual eatery you find everywhere. The atmosphere at Sud Osteria is very welcoming and unique, and the staff breaks away from the usual clichés, making guests feel more at home than at a restaurant! The menu isn't extensive, but it offers tasty and unique dishes! The price of the dinner was proportionate to the service and the cost (2 appetizers, 2 main courses, 2 desserts, 2 glasses of wine and water). I highly recommend it!

08/01/2026: My husband and I stayed for New Year's Eve and left on January 2nd. We both stayed and dined at the Locanda, and it was a wonderful experience! Everyone was very kind, and the dinner was superb! Breakfast was meticulously prepared, with a different dessert made every day by the owner of the Locanda! Highly recommended! We'll be back soon!
