I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. The pizzas are delicious, reasonably priced, and the staff were very friendly. We didn't have to wait long. Everything was excellent. This was our second time there.

Real insider tip! The pizza tastes great and I don't know how the cipolla are prepared here, but they are to die for! Very clean restaurant and nice staff. We ate here as a couple with a dog. 2 pizzas, 2 cokes and water for 20€. Any time! It was so delicious that I only thought about taking a photo halfway through 😂🤭

The food was very tasty and it came really quickly. A waitress even spoke German to us. There is a great selection for vegans and vegetarians. I had a vegan pizza with mushrooms and it was delicious. Thanks!

They took us in even without a reservation. Staff was very kind and the service excellent. We had fries, pizza, pasta. Amazing place for dinner.

Der Lichtblick nach "nebligen" Tagen in Avola, denn es gab wenig Licht und viel Schatten. Heute war ein guter Tag. Habe keine Pizza bestellt sondern etwas internationales. Das Ergebnis war sehr gut. Feinheiten beim Schweinefilet (Beilagen) und beim Lachscarpaccio waren offensichtlich. Tischwein (5€/0.5dl) sehr gut!! Gelungener Auftritt der Küchencrew👍👍👍

Servizio attento e cortese. Ambiente molto curato e gradevole. Ampia scelta di pietanze. Ottime le pizze con impasto leggero e digeribile. Condimenti e pesce di qualità.

12/07/2025: We had the Sicilian piada and were very pleased. The one with anchovies and Sicilian cheese was excellent, while the one with tuna and cherry tomatoes was good, but you could taste the oil from the canned tuna, so it didn't taste as good. The piadas are reasonably priced, but we stayed a while, and with drinks, coffee, and the 10% service charge, the price became the same as at a restaurant. The owner and his wife are very kind and friendly.
11/07/2025: Nestled in a quiet alleyway on the island, Cala Piada will immediately captivate you with its intimate and authentic atmosphere, far from the tourist crowds. A great alternative to traditional restaurants, where the passion for piadinas is fully expressed.

24/06/2025: I'll start by saying that I'm from Umbria, I booked this place thinking it was a restaurant. It's actually a wine shop in all respects. Initially I wasn't really convinced, but I had to change my mind. Typical local cuisine cooked by real Sicilians and not by foreigners as many local places are used to. Simple but genuine dishes, cooked with skill. I was pleasantly surprised. The owner is professional but at the same time easy-going, he immediately made us feel at ease. I don't know if I'll have the chance to return, but I highly recommend it!
22/06/2025: Two words: Incredibly delicious! Incredibly good antipasti, good wine, and very friendly service. The chef came to our table after the meal and asked if we enjoyed our meal. If you want to eat delicious antipasti in Ortigia, this is the place to go.
