A lovely trattoria reminiscent of times gone by. The staff is helpful and always ready to smile (Corrado made us laugh heartily with his story about the ocean liner). The tortellini in broth were fabulous. It's impossible not to return.

We stumbled upon it by chance... being on a business trip, we called one of the few restaurants open on Mondays.
The atmosphere was welcoming, and Tommaso invited us to sit down. We chose the tortelli tasting menu, starting with a cured meats appetizer. The portions were just right, so we finished the meal with dessert. The house wine was excellent. The service was precise and impeccable. Tommaso was so friendly, we invited him to sit with us at the end of the meal for a chat and a nocino liqueur. We hope to be back in the area to visit them.

We went to this restaurant for lunch on Sunday, November 16th for a birthday party.
We wanted to reiterate our compliments for the impeccable service and the extensive menu.
A real success!
We also tried the beetroot cheesecake.

The meat tortellini in melted butter were excellent, but better with broth. Potato tortelli with datterini tomatoes and mint were amazing. Pumpkin ravioli with poppy seeds were superb. The puff pastry with custard was excellent. Good service. Very friendly staff. The cured meat appetizer was plentiful, but the quality wasn't up to par with the rest.

Oh, listen, there aren't many places like this around anymore. When you discover it's the same family that's been running the place for generations, you immediately understand that here they focus on substance. They don't have a menu as long as the Via Francigena, and thank goodness for that! Just a few items, but made with all the trimmings, like they used to do in the old days. The fresh stuffed pasta is really good; you can taste the quality ingredients and the craftsmanship is right, that of someone who's been doing this job all their life. They also treat you well, with kindness and without too many frills, even if you arrive unexpectedly with a hungry table full of people. And if the weather permits, eating in the internal garden is a peace that reconciles you with the world. The bill is fair, like the food they put on your plate. A sincere place, the kind that leaves you feeling happy.
