As per tradition we went to this restaurant to celebrate a family occasion What can I say…. As always… It feels at home Ilaria perfect hostess Excellent food, well done Irene Luciano impeccable Excellent wines Good value for money Traditional, elegant place There is a piano that is played and relaxes The dishes are replaced with each course Definitely recommended

I always gladly come back to feel at home. Donna Ilaria traces the tradition of Donna Vittoria with wisdom and elegance. Superfine food and exceptional wine selection. Have no doubts.

I was at the centuries-old Leon d'Oro on Sunday 27 October 2024....what can I say, simply exceptional in everything... Ilaria's attention to her customers, the menu with the prized white truffle, simple dishes prepared with love, it's always a pleasure to return to this restaurant 😊

Una piacevole scoperta in un sabato sera di passaggio. Gentile la signora proprietaria, brava la giovane cameriera. Abbiamo mangiato degli ottimi antipasti (anche se un po' carucci) , sformato di zucca e tortino al castelmagno (buonissimo ne avrei mangiati tre). Di primo tajarin al ragù di salsiccia, ottimi e abbondanti, plin al sugo di arrosto e plin al burro e salvia. Di secondo guancetta e maialino ( forse avrei preferito poter scegliere un contorno come le patate piuttosto che mangiare degli spinaci ...) comunque ottimi e teneri. Dimenticavo buono il prosciutto cotto di benvenuto.

Die Speisekarte war ok, aber das Essen selbst kein Genuss. Weinkarte haben sie nicht. Insgesamt war es enttäuschend. Zum Glück konnten wir doch noch draussen sitzen, anstatt in dem grossen Speisesaal

22/01/2025: I give 3 stars because I was not fully satisfied with the experience at this restaurant. I'll tell you. A beautiful and very colorful place, I really appreciated it because the atmosphere is lively. The menu is very interesting so much so that I would have liked to try everything. I really liked the snails so much so that I made an encore because the portion was small. Even the tajarin dish was almost invisible unfortunately, not to mention the 2 slices of rabbit (exquisite). Not bad selection of wines, really appreciated. The downside is that the portions are so small that we still left hungry. We didn't order other dishes because we already ended up with around €230 for 4 of us (2 adults and two children). The quality of the food is unquestionable, but going out and still being hungry after what we spent is unacceptable..
