Fantastic experience... warmly welcomed by Andrea who with so much passion told us every single detail of the dishes, prepared with care and love by his wife. We will certainly return because these places with such attention to detail are rarely found.

I had dinner with a group of friends at the restaurant: Absolutely worth trying. A menu made of tradition and knowledge of all the ingredients used. Taste, authenticity and refinement. The traditional cuisine is revisited in a modern style with 0 km products, all seasoned with the hospitality, kindness and love for their business from Barbara and Andrea to whom our further thanks go. Very few places. Reservations are recommended

A truly special experience in this small and welcoming restaurant. The passion and love for cooking can be perceived in every dish, made with fresh and genuine, strictly local ingredients. We reached L'Elisir Del Poeta without plans. We were welcomed by Andrea who kindly made us sit in this magical and loving place. We ate divinely, experiencing excellent genuine vegetarian food, with medicinal herbs and local raw materials, prepared with love and dedication by Barbara and presented poetically and affably by Andrea. Every gesture, every word, every dish was seasoned by the loving presence of the couple Andrea and Barbara who takes you to wonderful places far away in time and to ancient and ever new flavors in a land without equal. Unique experience! The owner Andrea conveyed, right from the booking on the phone, the passion he puts into his work together with his wife. It wasn't just a lunch but a real experience that I recommend anyone to do if they pass through these parts. As soon as you enter you are greeted by Andrea in this room that looks like the living room of an apartment, it is no coincidence that the owner does not call people clients but "guests". The atmosphere captures you at 360 degrees to the point that you enter at 1pm and leave at 3.30pm without even noticing the passage of time and completely forgetting your phone. Everything perfect! Congratulations to Andrea and Barbara!

We are back again, an unmissable appointment when we go to Santo Stefano. The welcome, the warmth and the valorisation of local products make this small restaurant a real gem.

Like every year, more than a few times we have been to this magical place where time seems to stop... from the kitchen to the presentation we spent a wonderful day to say the least... I have always recommended it... local products cooked and presented with extreme love....thank you, you are wonderful

Siamo state subito ben accolte e coccolate da andrea e barbara chef patrons di questo piccolo ristorantino che riuscirà a farti trascorrere qualche ora in pieno relax nel gustare piatti particolarissimi della tradizione contadina preparati con tanto amore e passione. Proposte molto speciali , abbinamenti azzeccati , assaggi gourmet accompagnati dai buoni vini della casa. Una esperienza sicuramente da provare se siete in zona ; grz ancora per la bella serata e buon lavoro !! marina & friends

Da fuori le luci, le scritte, le finestrelle con i cuoricini ti invitano ad entrare come fossi invitato a casa di amici. In fondo è questo lo spirito del locale, farti sentire a tua agio in mezzo a persone che vogliono trascorrere una piacevole serata con te. Appena entrati ci ha accolti Andrea, un ospite di casa sorridente e affabile che ci ha fatto accomodare al nostro tavolo in una stanza di circa 4x4m, con la cucina e un bagno ma molto accogliente e piena di lucine e oggetti curiosi, tutti con una storia da raccontare. E ne aveva da raccontare anche Andrea che ad ogni piatto spiegava gli ingredienti e la loro provenienza accompagnandoli con qualche suo aneddoto. I piatti erano in gran parte degli assaggi ma la qualità era eccellente! Dalla zuppa di lenticchie ai formaggi di capra e dalle verdure grigliate al dolce fatto in casa, tutto cucinato magistralmente e con passione. Ogni portata aveva la sua personalità dove gli ingredienti si abbinavano armoniosamente sprigionando sapori autentici di una volta. La cuoca Barbara aveva fatto un lavoro straordinario presentato in maniera accattivante dal marito Andrea ed impiattato con gusto. Un percorso gastronomico che arricchisce corpo e anima. Sicuramente un'esperienza da vivere e da raccontare.
