Over the weekend, my friends and I went to the mountains and decided to book a table at Elisir del Poeta. I can say it without hesitation: it was a wonderful discovery. ❤️❤️❤️ Elisir del Poeta isn't just a restaurant, but a special place, one that stays in your heart. It's a small, cozy, intimate place where as soon as you enter, you immediately feel at ease, as if you were in someone's home who welcomes you with sincerity and warmth. The true value of this place, however, are Andrea and his wife, Barbara. Two extraordinary people, kind, helpful, always smiling, and above all, passionate about what they do. They personally take care of everything, from the kitchen to the reception, and this care is reflected in every detail. The dishes are created based on what nature offers at that time of year: they harvest and choose the ingredients according to the season and what they can find locally, highlighting genuine, high-quality products. Thanks to Andrea and Barbara for giving us such a beautiful, simple, and genuine day. You can tell there's a big heart behind this little place. We'll definitely be back, because places like this deserve to be experienced and supported. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Andrea and Barbara welcomed us into their "nest" with extreme courtesy and culinary expertise. I was impressed by everything: fresh food, entirely prepared by them, high quality, and perfectly balanced. We felt at home. We will definitely be back... even with Grandma and Mom ❤️

A fixed menu featuring locally sourced ingredients, all vegetarian and delicious: from a lentil and oat soup reminiscent of grandparents' caresses, to highland chickpeas cooked in milk and rosemary, to roasted primo sale and buckwheat flan. A special mention goes to the handmade gnocchi with amaranth and scorzone, all accompanied by excellent local wines. It would be obvious to say it makes us want to return, but it truly is. For lovers of excellent, authentic food and those who like to feel at home even when away. A wonderful surprise! A warm thank you to Andrea and Barbara for these two hours spent with you!
