This is actually a wine bar with bottles for sale, too. It had a spectacular menu of cold cuts and hot crostini - the cheese platter was divine. Great range of wines by the glass. Helpful staff, who did a great job of picking a series of wines for us to accompany the courses we ordered. We'll be going back. Highly recommended. Update: I did go back for a couple of glasses of wine. It was just as good as I remember. Reservations recommended if you want to eat.

Probably my favorite wine bar in Florence. It's across the river so there were less tourists. The inside space is a bit small but there is outside seating. Our waitress was amazing. She was very knowledgeable of wine and cheeses. No matter if you are a newbie or seasoned wine drinker this place is a gem! You can buy a glass or buy a bottle. We also had the duck breast with wine which was amazing! Go for the wine stay for the conversation!

Very alternative aperitif. Delight of very particular cheeses and refined wines. Given the weather we were outdoors and it was a very pleasant evening. The only downside is that they close at 9pm....but we liked it anyway. To return....

Great place. Not too big but busy enough to create atmosphere. Exceptional friendly staff. Great good and amazing wine selection at good prices.

Lovely spot; well located, but tucked away from the busy streets. The owners were very sweet. Great wine selection, and reasonably priced. We really enjoyed our visit!

06/01/2025: I've been there twice. Wide choice of pastas, more common and less so. The cappuccino is good.
05/01/2025: We went here for breakfast and ordered coffee, a cream sphere (made with brioche dough) and a Sacher cake. I'm so sorry but the desserts didn't convince us and we found the quality below expectations. The coffee was average, nothing special. The place is quite simple, but lacks a welcoming atmosphere. In some places I also found it a little neglected. Positive note: the staff is friendly and the service was fast. Wheelchair accessible.

Bar Consumi

14/01/2025: Restaurant stocked with many flatbreads stuffed in different ways (cotto and fontina, mushrooms, tomatoes and mozzarella...). The homemade desserts are excellent. It also has a corner dedicated to newspapers.
