on the main entrance square to Courmayeur, at first a little scared by the unfairly negative reviews towards the friendly and fun staff.
We eat fondue and bourgignone, simply delicious and priced per person. Then the dessert, the strong touch, the best apple tart ever.
Very aesthetic place as you can see from the photos.
We will return often

Good log cabin style restaurant, friendly and professional staff. The starters are typical local and plentiful. Several choices of fondues (they were not included in my choice because they were too expensive compared to others). The Valpellinentze soup was not among the best I have tried, it seemed very watery to me. On the menu there are some non-Aosta Valley proposals such as carbonara, amatriciana, bolognese etc. (but almost all restaurants do it). I was expecting a few more choices on game. I don't recommend it, I think there are better places.

The food was really good. Special praise to Alex, our waiter: kind, attentive and very professional. It made the experience even more enjoyable.
Unfortunately, the staff at the entrance and at the checkout were not up to par: cold, unwelcoming and almost annoyed by the presence of customers. A real shame, because with a better welcome everything would have been perfect.

Pensavamo di trovare un posto dalla cucina tradizionale ma invece abbiamo trovato un luogo vecchio ma non di quelli trasudano storia. Prodotti a mio avviso di non ottima qualità. Peccato
We stopped in Courmayeur and decided to have lunch here, choosing the 30 euro menu including a first course, second course, side dish and dessert or fruit. Polenta with fontina and crepes as first courses, Valdostana and two braciole as second courses. Two panna cottas and an ice cream sundae as dessert. All very good, surrounded by a typical mountain atmosphere. We had a really good time. Recommended

Excellent restaurant in the center of Courmayeur.
If you want to eat typical and local products this is the right place.
We tried both the raclette and the fondue accompanied with polenta and they were both excellent!
The place is very beautiful, a perfect warm and welcoming mountain location.
The staff are very kind and helpful and were also very attentive to our 1 and a half year old daughter by making the meal arrive immediately for her.
We had such a good time that we came twice, both on Saturday for lunch and on Sunday for lunch.

I love this restaurant in Courmayeur...excellent cuisine and delicious venue. They are not always kind but it doesn't matter....the chicken with apples is worth the dinner....top
