We didn't stay in the hotel but we were lucky enough to eat in the restaurant, really full of local and high quality dishes. The staff were welcoming, friendly and very competent, I will definitely return.

A good place to come for dinner. The menu is pretty vast, covering local cuisine and some standard western fare. Wine is cheap too - a glass of local red (turned out to be 2 glasses because it came in a small carafe) was only €4. Am constantly amazed at how cheap wine is in Europe 😂. It's cheaper than bottled water in many places. Food is good and reasonably priced. Service is pretty efficient. However, they don't do takeaway ("sorry, this is not possible!" the waitress exclaimed while looking horrified at my request) so dining in is the only way to eat here.

Unfortunately I only took two first courses and a dessert as I imagined they would be substantial but there were many other dishes also as appetizers which in my opinion were truly delicious. We had a Val d'Aosta gnocco and mont blanc crêpes which were very characteristic and cooked with quality products. Among other things, I didn't expect such high quality-price ratio. I'll be back

Torniamo in questo locale dopo un anno per il pranzo di Pasqua. Locale tipico, servizio preciso puntuale e soprattutto cortese, buona scelta di piatti valdostani. ottima carta dei vini e buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Lardo, boccetta, castagne con il miele ottime. A seguire gnocchi alla valdostana e la classica bistecca valdostana.

If you are looking for one of the best restaurants in the area it is among the first but once you have been there you will put it among the last! Service where the waiters take too much confidence and if you order something they have to say, very grumpy. Food is not the best

Elegant, homely restaurant, tasty dishes. Different waiters - some nice, others rude. I recommend the onion soup. Unfortunately, the pasta was overcooked and clumped into a floury ball on the plate, making it impossible to finish the dish.

Ci torniamo sempre per il locale molto caratterizzato, il personale molto gentile e un menù tipico valdostano . Da provare perché si mangia molto bene insieme a un' ottima bottiglia di vino locale

30/03/2024: We had breakfast and lunch here in separate days after skiing. Very close to the slopes. Good atmosphere. And good food.
18/03/2024: Visited this place about 10 times this year as an avid skier in Cervinia. The place has been completely renovated and for the most part even though it gets super busy the service in general is superb, but it does have its moments where your eyes would role. The food is posh UK pub food done by Italians, you do pay for the privilege but it will not disappoint, probably better for me then Yelmtrob

Principe Delle Nevi Restaurant

16/03/2024: In my opinion the best apres ski in Cervinia, suitable for a young clientele, very fast staff even though the place was very crowded. I recommend, I will definitely return!!!
17/02/2024: Brilliant location in a lovely resort. Cervinia is not the most picturesque or lively village in the Alps but the surrounding mountains are stunning with great intermediate skiing. The hotel is ski-in/out and really well located at the top of the town. Even with the benefit of a couple of weeks of post-holiday reality to reflect, everything was wonderful. It manages to combine a modern laid back vibe with coziness and a really friendly family feel. The food is, without exception, fantastic. Generally nothing is too much trouble for the staff - for example they were always happy to give us a lift down to, and more importantly, up from the centre of the village even though it's only 5 mins. All this before I ended up in hospital for a scan with concussion (entirely self inflicted) - they couldn't have been more helpful to my wife, enquired about how I was getting on and laid on a great and much needed spread of food when we got back at midnight.
