Le Vecete In Verona

Local chosen for its fame. On one of the busiest and most tourist streets, internal room, upper room and external tables. I give it high marks because everything went well: tourist welcome, elegantly rustic environment, but... that difference is missing to make it, in my opinion, as top-notch as it is acted. Good dishes, new and tasty combinations, perhaps too much, for example risotto with amarone was overloaded with parmesan. Little choice on the menu, friendly tourist service. Among the restaurants chosen, we expected something more that would distinguish it. Here, it leaves a bit of "amarone" in the mouth, given the considerable investment.

The food is really great. I had meatballs as an appetizer and lasagne, both delicious. The service is very nice. Prices are quite high, but it's hard to expect it to be cheap in the old town of Verona.

Quite elegant central restaurant with traditional dishes. Very good wines. Very friendly and helpful staff.. sore point.. a little too expensive. Do you pay for the position... or maybe the wine even if by the glass? Perhaps. Do I recommend it? I do not know. For that price perhaps you can aspire to something more that enchants the taste buds.

I had lunch at this restaurant on Thursday and I was very happy with both the service and the very competent staff, especially the black girl with curly hair who was able to recommend several delicious and balanced dishes. The girl is very cheerful and helpful.

A nice restaurant in the old town with delicious food, I especially recommend the truffle paste and lasagne and tiramisu served with hot chocolate sauce. Nice service in several languages, including Polish. Prices adequate to the location.

The pasta was really good but they don’t offer soft drinks

Typical restaurant in the historic center of Verona. You can eat typical traditional Veronese dishes in a very nice and welcoming place. Very good service with friendly and helpful staff. After searching the streets to find a good place to dine on my own, I stumbled upon Le Vecete. The staff treated me wonderfully and my meal from start to finish was excellent! Can't forget the wine! I had two glasses of some exceptional Amarone! For food, I started with a mixed salad, was brought the most delicious basket of bread, then moved on to the meat tortellini which was sort of like a soup. The broth was perfectly seasoned and salted and the tortellini was al dente and delicious. I then moved on to a filet mignon with a creamy peppercorn sauce cooked medium rare. No room for dessert! If I had to make any suggestions, I would ask to have half portions of some of the 1st courses as in the tortellini. It's a lot of food for just one person. My total bill was 99 euro but I think that is totally worth the cost for a 3 course meal with bread and 2 glasses of fabulous wine. This would have cost me at least $150 in the US!

Mientras que en Verona, queríamos una auténtica comida italiana en un auténtico restaurante italiano y con LeVecete, esto es lo que conseguimos. Nos encontramos con él durante nuestra búsqueda el sábado 29 y entramos necesitando una mesa para 6. El personal era muy servicial y movió mesas para acomodarnos. La camarera era muy servicial para guiarnos a través del menú y todos nuestros platos principales eran soberbios, de la más alta calidad. Cuando se trataba de postre ella estaba de nuevo a mano para conseguir lo que queríamos. Tenía la pannecotta que iba a morir y los otros tenían su versión de Tiramisu, de nuevo excelente. He leído algunas de las críticas y solo puedo ir por experiencia y decir que las dos camareras y el gerente no podrían haber sido más amables. Sin duda volvería a ir y lo recomendaría. Tenga en cuenta que no hay menú para niños. Éramos cuatro adultos y dos adolescentes, así que no es un problema para nosotros.

Premetto, si tratta dei miei gusti personali. Locale molto bello e personale accogliente e gentile. Delusa però della qualità. Ho preso la polenta coi porcini e se la polenta era buona, il condimento di porcini era salato, troppo pepato, ma soprattutto sentivo sapore di minestrina più che porcini. Il che mi ha indotto a pensare che avessero usato il brodo per cuocere i funghi 😒 Classici spinaci al burro, per nulla soddisfatta. Manica larga col sale in tutti i piatti. Il pane però era ottimo. Diciamo che con quei prezzi mi aspettavo molto ma molto di più. E ci andava poco visto che ho ordinato piatti semplicissimi. Non lo consiglierei, nonostante il personale top.
