Fabulous location, if you eat outside on the terrace, but average tavern dishes (they didn't make me dream how to read them on the menu) and endless waits between one course and another. I smiled at a tagliata that wasn't a tagliata, but if you go there without the pretension of being in a restaurant, but in a tavern, it can be ok.

It was the icing on the cake for a weekend dedicated to relaxation, culture, nature and obviously, thanks to Matteo, also good food. Cuisine characterized by typical local dishes, good, tasty and generous, accompanied by excellent wine from the Marche cellars. We were pleasantly impressed by the Le Scalette Restaurant so much so that it became our fixed point for our dinners and we will certainly return again next time. A concrete restaurant based on tradition and love, far from the impalpability of Milan's restaurants.

Truly delicious cuisine... rustic setting and friendly, friendly staff. Every time I return to this place it's a rebirth for me... always excellent, traditional food and very kind staff. You have to try it.

Cucina marchigiana ottima. Location intima. Servizio perfetto. Abbiamo mangiato della carne buonissima, olive ascolane e crema fritta, tipiche della zona, deliziose. Antipasti caratteristici. Davvero tutto buonissimo.

15/06/2025: I had dinner at Andrea for three nights in a row, that is, for my entire stay in Macerata for a conference. I booked the first night, I had such a good time, for the welcome of Andrea and his staff, always kind and ready to give advice, for the quality and variety of the food, for the wine pairing, and for the location, that I decided to have dinner at La Volpe e L'Uva for the following two nights too. I highly recommend this restaurant!
