Simple and delicious. I don't understand the negative reviews about this restaurant. At places like this, ordering simple dishes is more likely to ensure it's freshly prepared. The service is okay.

Great place on the top next to Lake Como, close to the funicular! Very tasty food! Good service! Very tasty cocktails, the price is below average in this region! Very friendly service!

Abbiamo prenotato la mattina per poter mangiare all’aperto ed è stato molto piacevole. Polenta e brasato leggermente insipido ma buono, carne molto tenera. Niente di che invece la polenta tomino e salamella. (Avremmo preferito polenta e osso buco, ma purtroppo già alle 13,15 era finito). Porzioni giuste, prezzo adeguato, personale molto gentile e disponibile. A fine pasto ci è stata offerta la crema al melone, veramente deliziosa!

11/01/2026: A very quaint, simple, and always tidy place. We always organize a pre-Christmas gathering with the soccer team, about thirty people, and we're always treated very well. The food is very good and truly local. The appetizer is cured meats with bruschetta and beans with onions. The first course is delicious pizzoccheri and tagliatelle with mushrooms. The second course is rusticizada (a kind of pasta dish) and polenta uncia (uncia polenta). Dessert is cutizzs (a type of pasta), along with liqueurs and coffee. All served with excellent wine.
01/01/2026: We spent New Year's Eve with friends at the chalet. First of all, the Christmas decorations were beautiful, with all the lights and a beautiful nativity scene at the entrance. The manager and staff, to whom I extend my compliments, were truly kind, helpful, and professional. We spent €70, which I consider a great price for a meal that was so good and, above all, so good. Many traditional dishes, which, as a true Como native, I can assure you, were of excellent quality. Special mention for the chestnut dessert with Lario cream: truly superb. You could even have seconds with each course at no extra cost, which was truly appreciated. I will definitely be back, during a hike in the Spina Verde, to try some of your other dishes.
